In the Porto Cari area of Cala d’Or this apartment is ideal for four people looking to be in the heart of an up-market resort with a wide variety of restaurants and bars, but still retaining the privacy and peacefulness of the apartment complex. The apartment has a communal pool. Car hire is not essential, public transport/taxis being easily accessible. Tours can be arranged locally to many of the island’s attractions. There is also a local supermarket providing you with all your essential groceries and a grocery package can be provided if required.

We are a family from Cala d'Or and we live and own a property in the area. We also have a business in the Marina where the customers can pick up the keys and contact us for any issue arising during their stay in the property.

This property was bought when the owners discovered that Cala d'Or and its Marina are excelent places to relax and to enjoy their family holidays. The apartment is very close to the several sandy beaches located in the area and the Marina is in the up-market area in Cala d'Or from which you can easily access the restaurants and shops located in the town center and the nature of the Natural Park in Mondrago and the fishing port in Porto Petro.

Cala D'Or is built around a group of Calas (sandy coves). The nearest is only 10 minutes away. There is a road mini-train that goes right past the apartments en-route to other local beaches and a nearby National Park called Mondrago which also has some beautiful family-friendly beaches like Es Calo des Borgit and S'Amarador. We recommend also visiting the Es Forti sandy beach and walk along the rocks by the beach to view the entrance to the Marina and how the old Cala D'Or merges with it.


It is not essential to rent a car but we recommend to organise a taxi or a bus transfer to get to Cala d'Or from the Palma de Mallorca Airport which is around 60 kilometres away from Cala d'Or. If you are planning to visit different areas within Mallorca we recommend you to rent a car either in Palma or in Cala d'Or. We can help you organising it.

The apartment has very nice views to the Marina and the bathrooms have been renovated to a very high standard. There is a parking area right infront of the entrance and a communal pool. Due to its location in the Marina where there is private security 24 hours and the Marina entrance closes at 12 o'clock the area is very quiet and safe. There is a small supermarket right next to the Marina entrance and another two larger ones in Cala Egos and in the main entrance in Cala d'Or where you will find the main petrol station.
