Comfortable & Spacious

  • 5 of 5

Mrs Fordy's was perfect for us and our two labradors. Comfortably furnished, bright, clean and welcoming. Nice comfy bed and plenty of storage space. No noise - we slept like logs! Perfectly positioned to access both Beadnell to the right and Seahouses to the left but the best is the wonderful beach directly across the road! The weather was very kind, quite breezy (sometimes blustery!) on the beach as you would expect, so wind/water proof jackets essential. The coast was a revelation, huge areas of perfect sandy beach, absolutely beautiful and as deserted as we had been told. The dogs loved it and entertained us and others with their exuberant antics! Pity the castles (Alnwick & Bamburgh) do not allow dogs in their grounds/gardens. Highly recommend Annstead Farm, Mrs Fordy's cottage and Northumbria. We will be back!
