Ground Floor apartment in the award winning Playa 3 complex in Pueblo Patricia, Los Alcazares. The apartment is only a few minutes walk to all the local amenities, restaurants, bars, shops, including the beaches of the Mar Menor. The apartment is also ideally based for golfing holidays with many course near by. The beaches are all blue flag award winning and are excellent for children and adults alike. The apartment has a traditional feel and has been finished to a high standard with everything required to enjoy your holiday. It has an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area, including air conditioning. The kitchen door leads onto the south facing sun patio which includes a much needed electronic sun canopy, excellent for outdoor eating with easy access to the swimming pool area which includes a children's pool. The terrace has a gate that locks for the safety of children, who may want to escape to the pool!

The apartment rate has no hidden costs and include cleaning, wi- fi and air-con.We provide everything you need for holidays in the sun.

About Donna & Stephen Briggs

We live in Cardiff and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. It has always been our dream to own a property in Spain. My husband and I both work full time and enjoy nothing more than escaping to Spain at least 3 times a year. When we are not in Spain we love to share our spanish home with other families.

Prior to being lucky enough to own this apartment we spent 5 years renting it, spending our family summer holidays in Los Alcazares. We feel this apartment is in the best location on Playa 3 with both front and rear entrances and terraces. Los Alcazares is typically Spanish and feels safe. The people are extremely friendly and you cannot help but relax in the laid back atmosphere. We love the fact you can be in your apartment within 10 minutes of landing.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is in the perfect location on playa 3 and for all amenities airport, beach, supermarkets, shops, restaurants and golf.We love the fact you don't need a car,it's a pleasure to walk to the shops. The pool area is only steps away from the terrace.The beach bars are a great place to watch the world go by.

It has direct access from the kitchen door to a family pool and children's pool. This is a non-smoking apartment.Unlike many apartments we do not charge for air con, Wi-Fi or final clean this is all included in the advertised price. For your convenience we also provide tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fresh water and toilet rolls complimentary to help you settle in. We also have a larder with condiment essentials for those who choose to cook (salt, oil, vinegar etc). Outside: Sunny garden/terrace with electronic canopy, private sunbeds on wheels to use on terrace or by pool area. Patio table and chairs. Shared pool steps away. The accommodation was absolutely superb and you could tell it is used by the owners as there was nothing at all missing to make your stay think " they should have had this or that "

We four would stay there again and not even think there may be somewhere better to go.

Playa 111 and the area are great to chill out and relax before going out to a great selection of markets and places to eat.

Lovely home in a great location

The apartment complex is lovely, the apartment was clean and tidy. Stayed here on and off for two months and enjoyed all the local facilities available in the area albeit many shops were closed during this time. Three supermarkets were within a few minutes walk. The back garden terrace was a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the winter sun. The only downside for us was the street noise which was fairly constant especially in the front bedroom. Generally we had a nice relaxing holiday and the owners were helpful and easily contactable if needed. Thank you!

Fantastic, homely apartment in a beautiful, safe complex

We stay in Donna and Steve's beautiful apartment every year as we just love it! It's like a home from home equipped with everything you need and is always lovely and clean. It's a short walk to the shops, supermarket, restaurants and beach, and only a 7 minute journey from San Javier airport. The complex is gated so nice and secure for my girls to come and go from the gorgeous pool too. Donna & Steve are so helpful and just lovely to deal with. I would definitely recommend their apartment!

Great location, great apartment

had a lovely holiday and the property was a great base to explore the area. Loved the garden at the back of the property which meant we were able to catch the sun and eat meals out there. Pool was lovely.

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

5-7 mins walk away is a 7km long promenade with an uncrowded sandy beach, beach cafes (Chiringuitos) and play areas.

Travel:

The apartment is less than a 10 mins drive from Murcia (San Javier) Airport, which is served by a number of low cost carriers from all over the UK and Europe, while Alicante Airport is a 50 mins drive. Although a car is not essential, it can be useful for touring and exploring the Costa Calida area, with its picturesque towns and cities such as the capital Murcia, the historic towns of Cartagena and Lorca, and the holy city of Caravaca de la Cruz. Car and bike hire can be booked locally.

Distances:

The historical town of Cartagena is a 15 min drive away and Murcia 30 mins. Both of these can be reached by an efficient local bus service, as can Alicante an hour away.

Further Details:

Los Alcazares still maintains its Spanish traditions with many Fiestas taking place. The largest being in October when the whole town takes part.

There are several supermarkets (Mercadona, Consum and El dia) and banks all within 2 minutes walking distance. Local restaurants offer a variety of food, from typically Spanish to Mexican, Chinese and Indian, together with several English restaurants. The fertile countryside keeps the local markets well stocked with bundles of fresh produce, the markets take place on Tuesday and Saturdays. Along with fresh produce you can also buy leather goods, clothes & shoes.
