"Modern, well equipped and beautifully styled apartment in an excellent location, with one the best views you could possibly have of Dubrovnik old town and the island of Lokrum. Having air conditioning in each room was a welcome relief from the heat of the day, and there was nothing better than sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the coming and going of the huge variety of boats going in and out of the old town. 10 min walk into the old town and a great beach - Banje beach. Lovely apartment, stunning views

We'd highly recommend this lovely apartment! Just returned from a week's stay with our family of two adults & three children aged 17, 14 & 10. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had good air conditioning in every room. Everything worked, including the wifi (fixed from a previous review), and although the kitchenette is small it was perfectly adequate.

But the most fabulous aspect of the apartment is the view from the balcony! I don't think we`ve ever stayed anywhere quite like it. You are looking directly out over the Adriatic, with forested Lokrum Island right in front and Dubrovnik old town to the right. Sitting on the balcony in the morning while the sun was coming up or in the evening as it set over the old town was really very special!

Otherwise, the apartment is in a great location, on the quieter Ploce or eastern side of the old town, 10 mins walk from the nearest mini-supermarket and 15 mins from the beach & old town gates. But be aware that the price of your spectacular view is that it's high up the hillside & on the way back there are a lot of steps to climb! This didn't bother anyone in our party but might be a problem if you're travelling with younger children or anyone with mobility issues. Alternatively you could take a taxi up to just above the apartment, or drive it yourself, but the last stretch of road is quite narrow. We arranged airport transfers through Darko, the apartment manager, who was very helpful, and otherwise got about entirely on foot or ferry.

Finally, we'd never been to Croatia before, but this week was a really great introduction! At the end of August it was 30 degrees plus, warm in the evenings, and we swam every day. Our best outing was the ferry to Lokrum island (we did it twice in the end) where you can walk, relax and swim from the rocks. Banje beach below the apartment gets quite crowded in the middle of the day but has sand & was popular with the children. There are also a couple of places you can swim just outside the old town walls, which is fun. We did one sea kayaking trip, which was lovely in the evening light, but quite challenging particularly when the wind got up a bit! And we walked the city walls (very good), saw the Dubrovnik sights, and had a couple of great meals out. The one thing that seemed quite expensive was the cable car up to Mt Srd & back - if we did it again I'd go one way and walk down, or not bother & just go up to Lokrum Fort...

A lovely spacious clean modern apartment with fantastic views of the old town.

This was a very comfortable and clean apartment. Everything was new, the beds were really comfortable with crisp clean sheets. The air conditioning worked well which we needed in July. We also enjoyed being an easy walk from the old town, easy going down at least, a bit more effort required coming back but this is Dubrovnik (steep hills) and worth it to be so near the old town which is truly the most beautiful place I have ever been.

The only disappointment was that the Wifi wasn't working on arrival, not fixed as promised and texts to the manager about it weren't answered.

Dubrovnik is a very special place and Ploce with commanding views of the old town were the apartment is located is a very sort after area. The apartment is near all the attractions but far enough away to enjoy your privacy and a relaxing place to stay.

The best beach in Dubrovnik is a short walk of 5-8 minutes from the apartment


Dubrovnik airport is 20 minutes by cab to the apartment. We can arrange pick up and drop off if required.


The historic Old Town is 15 minutes walk and hotels, restaurants are in short striking distance from the apartment.
