All cottages are centrally heated and 2 have wood burning stoves in the sitting rooms if you like having fires on winter evenings! The village of Great Snoring is just 6 miles from the fabulous north Norfolk coast at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham. Places such as Royal Sandringham, Burnham Market, Holt, Blakeney, Brancaster, Sheringham and Cromer are all within easy reach. We are dog friendly too, all cottages have enclosed gardens and there is a lovely footpath just round the corner from us or of course you have beautiful dog friendly beaches close by. Many of our beaches allow dogs in the summer months too!! Cottage is quaint and old fashioned but very comfortable. Heating very good and beds comfortable. If you can manage without a shower and do not mind washing your hair with a jug of water then you will be happy here. The only thing I could recommend is a welcome pint of milk as after a long journey we couldn't get a cup of tea without first visiting a supermarket! The cottage is situated in a lovely peaceful area and we had the best weather which enhanced our stay.
Lovely cottage, very comfortable, clearly loved by its owner and well maintained. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, Dogs very welcome, but there is not a hint of it, no doggy whiffs. Pretty gardens. Each cottage has its own enclosed garden, essential for dogs.
Close to the beaches but away from the main routes. Will definitely return.
The owner lives not far away, and met us herself. A lovely change from doing everything through a local agent.
We enjoyed our weeks holiday at Vine Cottage, it was sweet, clean and cosy and met our needs completely. Good location, not too far from the coast, with many pubs and eateries nearby. Dog friendly to boot. Gilly the owner was very helpful and responsive. Would recommend and would book again.
