The apartment is a studio with a double bed and a sofa bed, taking up to 2 adults and 2 children total.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee machine, microwave, electronic grill, fridge, etc.

There's also a washing machine, air conditioning and one TV.

The apartment is on the 4th floor and the building has an elevator, with the lower floors being used as garages.

The building has WiFi available in all the common areas including the reception and pools.

There's 2 swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, both shared with the residents.

The BayView building in which this apartment is located is in the historical centre of Albufeira, within walking distance of the beach, night life and convenience stores while still being far enough that you can enjoy a quiet night.

Modern, secure apartment offering value for money.

The owner's email communication was very good and the handover arrangements excellent.

Well positioned in Old Town Albufeira, this studio apartment was on the 4th floor with lift access. It is well equipped, clean and has a good sized terrace overlooking a car park (not sea view).

Would definitely consider staying again.

Excellent value in a great location

We stayed in this apartment for 10 days. The owner was extremely helpful on e mail prior to our holiday. The apartment is in a great location in the old town, and only a short walk to the beach and great restaurants. It is modern and secure with a great pool and sun terrace. The apartment was good for the 2 of us, was well equipped and had a decent balcony. We would certainly recommend this apartment and location for a relaxing holiday.

Firstly the payment system for this incurs a £20.00 bank charge which the owner says she will pay half but does'nt. The balance is paid for in Euros cash on arrival to a lady who does not speak any English.

The Studio is small and overlooks a building site. Not quite what the pictures presume.

We have stayed many times in the Old Town and this is the worst place to date.

Would not recommend it for many reasons.

Owner's Response: This customer says it has been in several houses and it seems that nunhuma is good enough, why not return to repeat. She knew it was a studio, and the pictures are real. As for the English, until the date there was no problem. All this protest is due to the payment of fees charged, of which I have no responsibility. I'm sorry for your stay. Isabel Mauricio

Great Holiday

We have just arrived home following a fantastic stay in this studio apartment. The location cannot be faulted. Within 5 minutes walk you can be on the beach or in one of the many restaurants and bars around the old town square, there is a slight hill to climb on the way back but it's not too bad. The studio itself has everything you need for a self catering holiday although apart from an occasional sandwich we ate out every night. The pool area is basic but adequate and the complex feels secure. Considering the central location it is very quiet and peaceful and we have never slept so well. I would love to return at some point.

We have just returned from a week away in this studio apartment, having also stayed the previous October.

The location of the apartment is first class; within very easy walking distance to the main square; where there is an excellent selection of bars and restaurants.

The apartment complex is gated and secured; giving peace of mind. The apartment was spotlessly clean; with a large terrace area which is well equipped with loungers for sunbathing, as well as a table and chairs for alfresco dining. There is also a handy clothes dryer for any washing.

The kitchen is well stocked so self catering is easy; as you have everything you could need.

The pool area is great; clean and with plenty of free sun loungers

Pound for Pound, I doubt you would find a better value for money studio in the heart of Albufeira

noisy building work

Not at any stage did the owner notify us of the ongoing serious noisy building work below and next door to us and throughout the building during our 15 night stay (8.30am till 6.30 pm). The owner claimed as these building works were beyond her control, all she could do was say sorry! She would not accept resposibility nor be accountable for ruining our holiday or offer any financial compensation. Had we been informed, we would have cancelled or rearranged our holiday dates. There was a constant horrible smell in the bathroom, which possibly was from the washing machine having no u bend drain in the pipework, which discharged dirty water directly into the shower tray, which leaked back out under the washing machine itself making the washing machine unusable. It does not have a utility room as described. None of the photographs taken from the balcony are from that apartment. It is located on the side of the building overlooking 2 large builders skips! That was not the steel terrace furniture in the apartment. It was cheap old and unstable bar stool type furniture. The apartment was dirty with basic cheap furniture and kitchen untensils. Bed sheets were to big for the beds and the pillows were also too big to fit into the cases. Sun loungers were filthy and not fit for use. The terrace floor was also very dirty. Not that it affected us, but there was no dishwasher as advertised.

We would not recommend this apartment or to book with this owner and our rating is zero.

Owner's Response: Let me adress a few points: As we told you: the workers were not supposed to be there, it was agreed by the conduminium that works would be done by the end of April. As for the smell in the bathroom: it's already been fixed. The photographs are indeed ALL from the apartment. The views are from the terrace accessible from any person in the building. The furniture is exactly as advertised, as, like I said, the photos are FROM the apartment (as I do not own any other). We also do not advertise a dish washer. This "guest" has also broken the coffee machine and the blackout curtains. This is clearly the review of an angry costumer and clearly does not reflect accurate information for any future clients. The problems mentioned here have all been taken into consideration and have been fixed; we offered as much support during the stay as we could. Nothing of this degree has ever happened before and probably never will again, because this is an exxagerate level of complaint that CLEARLY does not reflect reality. Thanks for understanding.
