For sport enthusiasts, kayaks and sailing dinghies can be rented at Swanpool beach, Falmouth golf club is within walking distance and walkers can easily join the coastal path. Falmouth town centre and harbour is within a mile and can provide all types of entertainment from cafés and restaurants, the National Maritime Museum, a cinema or a ten-pin bowling alley.

The house has been in the family for over 10 years. My husband and I took it over as a holiday home in 2013. We love Cornwall and especially Falmouth with its wonderful estuary.

Good property in a great location

My family (4 adults and 3 kids) spent two weeks at the property this summer and had a great time. It's a great base in Falmouth, which is a lovely town, being only 15 mins walk into town and 10 mins to the nearest of two local beaches. The property was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Great place but it needs a bit of TLC

The house is in a great place the lay out of the hose is good it is just very tired needs up dating the gutter at the back of the house were the main bedrooms are is full to overflowing with weeds and when it rained through the night little sleep was had because of the noise of the rain water over flowing the gutter like a waterfall some of the windows did not shut properly . There is a very nice garden but needed a bit of maintenance the back enclosed courtyard had not been cleaned for a long time there is a washing machine in the garage great but no were to put a washing line to dry the washing having said all that we had a good holiday Falmouth is a great place the position of this house is good very quiet and the neighbours are very quiet on one side and very nice on the other side the house is good it could be great with a little TLC. We were in Falmouth for seven nights we went to seven different restaurants we did not have one bad meal all week they were all very good.

The gutter and the patio have been cleaned. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to come to Falmouth prior to your stay. The property is well maintained and in a good location handy for the beaches and town centre.

Helene the owner was very helpful and easy to contact and would recommend the property to friends and relatives.

The only dislike I had was the hike in prices in the pubs and restaurants apart from that the weeks stay in the bungalow was very pleasant.

Excellent 5 star!

Arrived the house i was beyond impressed! very clean, everything was well thought out for the stay! the kids loved the kids room perfect and the garden was nice for kids to play :) the beaches, town and a lot of attractions where within walking distance which was great! ( swanpool beach cafe has the most amazing icecream i have had! )

oveall i would give it 10 out of 10! would definitely book again! owners have done a really good job with the place :)

Fantastic stay

We hade a wonderful time at the cottage, the beach is only a five minute walk with the choice of two beaches, the place was immaculate with everything you could possible need, the owners very accommodating and very welcoming, this was our first time in Cornwall and we will be returning year upon year, what a beautiful place to go on holiday, local produce everywhere, fantastic cafés and restaurants
