House in Saint Jean de Monts, Vendee, Pays de la Loire, France - Peaceful Location, 10 to 15 Minutes Walk To Sandy Beach

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Notre Dame de Monts, a pretty Vendéen village with a lovely old church and excellent shops, and within short walking distance of one of the fabulous sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast, this tastefully decorated property provides a peaceful base to enjoy and explore the surrounding area. Within easy reach are the Ile de Noirmoitier (bridge is about 5km to the north) and the ferry terminal (in the lovely village of Fromentine) to the enchanted island of Ile d'Yeu where bicycle is king (bike hire available in Port Joinville near the ferry terminal). Also within easy reach are Pornic and La Baule in southern Brittany and within 3 hours drive is the channel port of St Malo. All facilities may be found in the village at about 1km, including baker, grocer, cafe-bar, restaurants etc., as they may also in the larger town of St Jean de Monts, about 7km to the south-east.

Changeover Day:
Changeover Day is normally on a Saturday, but other days and durations possible outside high season and by negotiation. Rentals normally run from 3pm on day of arrival, vacating normally by 11am on day of departure.

Please note that prices do not include heating costs during the colder months - this is extra (metered) and will be deducted from the damage deposit.
