This property is a welcoming two bedroomed holiday flat sleeping up to four with fabulous sea views from the bay window dining area and kitchen. WiFi. The flat is perfect for families and can also be booked with Number 1, Shipden House - 3 minutes' walk away - to accommodate a larger family or grandparents! Plenty of free on-street parking nearby.

A Short Break

It was the first time we had stayed in Cromer and the flat was in an ideal spot, to explore the town and seafront. We found it very well equipped, clean and tidy, with tasteful décor. Our 1year old granddaughter settled as soon as we arrived and loved toddling from room to room. It was lovely to sit for breakfast, in the bay window and watch the waves lap on the beach. Worth the short flights of stairs to have the view. We couldn't fault the service we received from the owners and would certainly recommend the flat, as a great place for families to stay. A thoroughly good time was had by us all.

grimey, urgently needs TLC

This flat does not live up to its pictures on the site - we arrived to find the changeover had not happened, and while this was soon rectified and the owner pledged to make a small deduction on price (which has not happened yet), and hence can be overlooked, underneath the flat is essentially GRIMEY and has not apparently had a proper clean (dusting, sills, corners, surfaces, let alone the shared entrance to the street which is filthy, kitchen cupboard full of junk and disordered). even the bedding did not feel at all clean. it is also not particularly well equipped (no garlic crusher or proper cork screw for instance, though there is a good bunch of kids toys for those who have kids with them). the flat is on a very fast trafficky corner which presents a challenge with small children and parking has to be sought out/ is not provided. The flat urgently needs TLC, proper maintenace (o, and a new shower that is not mouldy). the price, while marginally cheaper than other options, does not reflect its standard. No outside space. Think student digs.

Owner's Response: We are very disappointed to read this review. I (the owner) went to do the changeover and inspect the flat on Wednesday and was also very upset with the standard of cleanliness of the flat. I can assure you that this has been rectified by me personally and will continue. I spent four hours deep cleaning the flat internally, shower addressed and exterior windows cleaned. I have sorted all of the kitchen cupboards and purchased new bed linen. The goodwill gesture was sent to you on Wednesday and I hope you have received it by now. We want all of our future guests to be assured that this situation WILL NOT arise again. Joanna Thomas

Coast/Beach:

Cromer is a lovely Victorian seaside town famous for its Blue Flag sandy beaches, Cromer Crabs, the pier end theatre and working lifeboat. The beach and most local amenities are within 2 minutes' walk of the apartment.

Travel:

Our property is easy to reach, either by train, bus or car. Cromer train station is no more than 10 minutes' walk away and car parking is available near to the property. Cromer is only 20 minutes' drive from Norwich International airport. A car is not necessary to enjoy all that Cromer has to offer.

Further Details:

There's plenty to keep sports enthusiasts happy - tennis courts, watersports, horse riding - and a golf course less than 15 minutes' walk from the flat. The whole area is ideal for walking and cycling.

The small streets throw up inviting local shops where fresh sea food, fine fish and chips, individual and tasteful gift shops and galleries can all easily be found. There are a variety of shops on the high street and it's very likely that you'll find all you need for your holiday here in Cromer.

  • Notes on accommodation: Cromer is small and easily explored on foot. Its majestic church has a very high tower, well worth the climb for the superb view. Next to the church is the revamped small museum - well worth a visit to learn about this delightful town's long history and put it into its modern context. Cromer is accessible to all. The front is long and the beaches have lifeguards on duty in season. On the pier is the well known theatre where there are seasonal shows and a full programme of artists throughout most of the year. There's always something worth watching and the professional performances belie the community atmosphere inside this theatre overlooking the sea. At the very end of the pier is the lifeboat station which is open to visitors. It has a fascinating history which you can learn about through a trip to the museum. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen is included, towels available to hire.
