Bedrooms 1
Separate WC's1
Space 430 sq. ft.
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 4 - 7 nights

Les Pins, sleeps 2 plus baby

"Les Pins" (The Pines) is a charming stone cottage which was once the "masion de gardien" on the estate. Since we converted it to a holiday cottage in 2002, it has been a popular and romantic destination for couples exploring this beautiful part of France.

Its large, open-plan lounge-dining room is bright and airy thanks to two sets of double French doors leading to the pool and garden on one side and to a private patio terrace with barbecue on the other. A small but well equipped kitchen caters for even the mosy ambitious cook.

The double bedroom, with its modern, en-suite shower room and wc, has glazed double doors leading to the pool and garden. A second separate wc and basin lead off the passage.

The large 11X4m pool is shared with a maximum of 4 other guests in the adjoining cottage only.

About the property

La Primelle Cottages

Two charming country cottages, "La Primelle Pins" and "La Primelle Chenes" set around a large private pool on a beautiful 7 acre private domaine bordering a national forest. "Domaine des Rochers" is a haven of peace offering the chance to enjoy a wonderful and exclusive holiday in the heart of the Languedoc. The cottages share a mediterranean style courtyard with lavender and olive trees, pool and sun terrace and ample sunbeds and each has a private terrace with magnificent views over the surrounding mountains. This is a perfect spot for lovers of nature, with its infinite variety of birds, butterflies and flowers to enjoy. Beyond the gates are many footpaths, ideal for walkers and mountain biking. While the rest of the world seems far away, it's just a ten minute drive to the A75 motorway leading to many historic towns and villages such as Pézenas, Montpellier, Nimes and Carcassonne. The Med beaches are less than 1hr away.

Guestbook comments from the owner

A wonderful woodland hideaway...batteries recharged...Thank you! Clive and Sue Aug 2014

A fantastic tranquil hideaway set within easy reach of many of the attractions the region has to offer. The open plan living area on the first floor remains cool on hot days and leads on to the large treetop balcony where you can enjoy dinner after a day spent lazing by the pool or exploring the region... we can give no higher recommendation than to say that we have already booked again for next year! Katharine,June2011/2012/2013/214( and booked for 2015!)

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful holiday home It was tastefully furnished and had everything that we needed. We particularly appreciated Joan's and Brian's hospitality- they were available to help when we needed them. Helen,Aug 2010
