This chalet is owned by two families - from Cumbria and Northumberland. We have refurbished this property to be a luxurious home from home. We want you to relax and enjoy our home in a wonderful unspoilt savoyard village - Samoens

From the Owner

We first came to Samoens in the summer of 2008, and loved the friendly, relaxed and traditional village. When we got together to look for a skiing base, Samoens seemed an obvious choice - we came to ski the Grande Massif and decided this was for us!

Samoens is very popular for parapente/paragliding - excellent conditions and thermals can mean that heights and distances achieved can be great.


Geneva Airport is just over 1 hour away and several companies provide excellent transfer services.

The chalet is so convenient for all amenities, summer and winter - an easy flat walk into the village, where there are wonderful shops, restaurants and bars - the SkiBus stops 50m from the door, yet we are in a quiet riverside location. There is parking and a South facing garden. The accommodation is suitable for all ages, with a groundfloor bedroom and ensuite, or a self-contained top floor with bedroom, mezzanine and bathroom.

Upstairs are two large twin/double rooms, and the fourth has a set of bunk beds. Stairs lead to the twin/double bedroom in the eaves,via a mezzanine room with a sofa bed.

  • Outside: South facing sunny garden. The chalet sits in its own grounds with offroad parking. Recently a decking area with hot tub and counter current endless pool has been installed. The hot tub is ideal for winter or summer evenings while the pool is perfect for swimming or triathlon training. Two main jets can be programmed to provide a customised swimming experience, and is great for learning to swim, or for kids to enjoy playing in. Utility Room: The utility room is located in the basement area which provides a washing machine and dryer. The entrance area also offers ski boot dryers. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, the property is cleaned at the end of your stay and we ask that you leave it in good order. Other: Recent addition to sunny garden, large decked area suitable for sunbathing, barbeques and generally relaxing beside a hot tub and counter current pool. Garden furniture to use in Summer.
