A lovingly refurbished detached chalet-bungalow sleeping 6 people just 5 minutes walk from Avon beach. With 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this family home offers a fantastic open-plan living area which opens on to a newly landscaped private garden via six metre wide bi-fold doors. Completely refurbished and extended in 2012, this family home is ideally located to walk to Avon beach and the picturesque Mudeford Quay, where you can catch the little ferry across to see the beach huts on the infamous Hengistbury Head. The historic priory town of Christchurch is a 5 minute drive. Bournemouth, with its pier and beautiful sandy beaches, is just a 20 minute drive, as is the stunning New Forest, which is ideal for cycling, walking and country-pub lunches.

Outside: The newly landscaped, very private garden has a large patio area with table and chairs, plus a grassed area with a children's 10ft trampoline and swings. The front drive is spacious and can house up to 4 cars. Utility Room: Laundry room with washing machine, cloths racks, iron and ironing board and cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: We ask that guests bring their own beach towels, but we supply sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases plus bath and hand towels. Bath mats and tea towels are also provided. The house will be thoroughly cleaned between each rental.

Our stay at Avon Beach

We stayed in the house this summer with our 3 children and cannot recommend it enough. The property is immaculate, ideally suited for families with a perfect location for the beach and the attractions of Dorset. The owners were responsive to our requests & we will definitely book here again

Impressive contemporary house

A great house in a great location.

House worked really well for 3 generations with very different needs – downstairs bedroom/shower room worked for those with more restricted mobility whilst the outdoor trampoline was ideal for keeping the children entertained. We all appreciated the open plan layout and bi-folding doors opening onto the garden.

Just a short stroll from the house, Mudeford Quay is great for an afternoon crabbing and Avon Beach is perfect for paddling, sandcastles, ice-cream and fish & chips. Catching the ferry over to Mudeford Sandbank is well worthwhile to see all the pretty beach huts.

Great spot for sightseeing though we spent most of our time locally and only ventured as far as Christchurch & Bournemouth.

Mudeford Gem

Marvellous property. Ample parking. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 fantastic living space. Bi-fold glass living room doors which fold out to back patio area. Spotlessly clean. Bright & spacious. Super fast wifi. Digital TV. Modern kitchen. Owner supplied a brilliant Welcome Booklet with lots of excellent information. 5 minutes walk from the beach. Mudeford is a lovely spot. Handy for Christchurch, Bournemouth, New Forest, Bieulieu etc etc etc. A marvellous property. Highly recommended.
