This ground floor apartment has a lounge/dining area with a double sofa bed, kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom and outside patio area with BBQ. The complex has 15 apartments in total with private, secure parking at the rear of the property and a shared swimming pool and grass area. A 5 minute walk to the beach, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. A wonderful bakery/café and golf shop are situated directly below the complex. Water parks, golf courses, tennis courts, small, sandy beaches and other popular resorts all within easy reach by car. A meet and greet service is provided; airport transfers can be arranged on request. 2 air con units, much appreciated by guests in high season. Wi-Fi available.

About the Owner

Head of Languages and NQT tutor at a secondary school. Twin teenage boys. Our holiday apartment is an ideal bolt hole for a family break with the boys taking over the first floor! We are a sporty family, enjoying cricket, football and karate. We no longer rent out the first floor, however, guests who have stayed before should contact Debbie in the first instance.

"The pool area was perfect for us, we could lounge and sunbathe and keep a stress free eye on the kids. Inside there is everything you could possibly need, all of which are quality appliances. Secondly, Debbie could not have been any more helpful. The booking and payment was uncomplicated. Debbie gave me detailed directions to the villa, and kept in contact regularly, also there is a villa manger, Michelle, who is on hand in case there are any problems."

Great accomodation ideally situtated for family.

Property was ideal for our family party (7 adults). The apartment is of a high standard and so well located just a short walk to the bars and restaurants of Carvoiero. I would highly recommend A Gale excellent food. The pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds and never really that busy in fact we had it to ourselves most of the time. All in all a great break and would love to return.

Well equipped, spacious, perfect location

We had a fabulous time at this property. It is spacious, very well maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need on a holiday, including equipment and toys for children.

The pool area is quiet, plenty of space and sunbeds.

The apartment felt very secure with security gates and large parking area.

The town of Carvoeiro is beautiful- if you didn't leave the town all holiday you would have plenty to do.

So many lovely restaurants and cafés.

We had such a wonderful holiday here and haven't stopped talking about it since our return! We plan on coming back.

Great holiday...

My sister, best friend and I spent a lovely relaxing, calm week at the apartment - which had more than enough space for us. It was very quiet, extremely close to the shops, bars and wonderful restaurants, and if we didn't want to venture out, having a BBQ on the huge patio in the sunshine was something we did a few times whilst we were there. Weather was great, location was fab - thanks for a great week!

Great two weeks in Carveiro

A party of 7 of us stayed at the apartment for two weeks and had a lovely time. The apartment was spacious, we had plenty of room and it was great having two kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and sun terraces! The apartment was modern and well maintained. Whilst we were there the shower head broke and it was fixed the next day which was great!

The apartment is ideally located with just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Carveiro which has a lovely little beach, many restaurants, bars and shops.

Some of us did kayaking and used jet skis at the beach and there is a boat trip around the caves.

You can eat at a different restaurant every night - It is reasonably priced and there is something for everyone.

The swimming pool at the apartment was great and never that busy and there is a lovely bakery next to the apartments that does fresh bread, cakes and treats!

Debbie the owner was great when booking the apartment and sorted out all our transfers which were very reasonably priced.

The weather was lovely and would definitely return to use the apartment again and would highly recommend it.

Location

From the Owner

We love Carvoeiro and only looked at properties in this town on the Algarve. It is a small resort with great restaurants and bars and everyone is so friendly. We enjoy out of season holidays where the weather is still warm and we spend time on the beach and the guys play some golf. We don't use the apartment at all during the cricket season, so we want other people to enjoy it, and this lovely resort. The air con is much appreciated by our guests during high season. We have wifi, Freeview TV and DVD player.

Nearest Airport : Faro at 65 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Harry's Bar, Rua do Barranco at 300 Metres Nearest Golf : Vale de Milho (par 3) at 5 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A22 at 8 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Taste Restaurant at 150 Metres Nearest Beach : Carvoeiro beach at 500 Metres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

The beach at Carvoeiro is a five minute walk from the property. It is a small, secluded and sandy beach. Similar beaches, eg Alvor, Lagos and Pera can be found just a short drive away. Pera's sand sculptures are worth a visit. Water sports are available at the larger resorts.

Travel:

Faro airport is approx. 50 minutes away via A22 motorway, slightly longer on the N125 if you want to avoid the motorway tolls. Airport transfers can be arranged. For a stay in Carvoeiro itself, a car is not essential, but if you want to explore the area, car hire can be arranged when booking or locally in Carvoeiro. The travel agent in Carvoeiro offers a variety of day trips and helpful advice about public transport, as does the tourist information office.

Distances:

Slide and Splash water park is located in Lagoa, a 12 minute drive away and Zoomarine, where you can swim with dolphins, is 18 km away in Guia. Aqualand is located in Alcantarilha 14 km away.The town of Portimao, historic Silves and the mountains of Monchique are all within easy access by car. (20 - 30 mins)

Further Details:

Meet and greet service on arrival or next day. Key safe available for late arrivals. Local shops, cafes and restaurants, banks and post office are all within walking distance. A car is necessary for shopping centres (e.g. in Portimao or Algarve Shopping in Guia) or for the larger supermarkets (e.g. Intermarche just outside Carvoeiro). Alternatively, public transport can be used. The travel agent in Carvoeiro offers many day trips to local sights. Airport transfers and car hire can be arranged on your behalf.

We love the fact that everything we need is in walking distance, including the daily market in Carvoeiro. We have our favourite bars and restaurants, but we also enjoy cooking and the kitchen is well-equipped. The accommodation is ideal for a couple or a family with small children. The pool is never too busy and the golf, water parks, shopping centres are only a short car journey away. We also enjoy driving up into the mountains in Monchique for a complete change of scene. Monte Carvoeiro has several good restaurants and bars, and is worth the walk up the hill. The bakery just below the apartment has the most delicious bread and cakes and is great for a coffee too!
