Lovely house very clean and comfortable, everything you needed for a relaxing stay, great location. york is a lovely city and i have no doubt that we will return again and would recommend this lovely house.

Everything was lovely about the house - nicely decorated, comfy beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen. The linen was clean and fresh, too. The location is fantastic, it being so close to York's centre. I would definitely stay again, and heartily recommend it.

Cosy comfortable house close to the city centre

  • 5 of 5

The house was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and a good size.

A nice 10 minute walk gets you into the city centre and there are lots of shops within a couple of minutes walk for groceries etc.

The only slight issue was with water pressure. When someone flushed the downstairs toilet the shower went off and I would not try to use two showers at the same time as the upstairs one seemed to struggle if you did. This was certainly not a major issue and would not stop us staying here again.

I would recommend this house.

Fabulous break!

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful 5 night stay. The property was gorgeous and spotlessly clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. 3 toilets, what luxury!

The 10 minute walk into York centre was handy and can recommend the open bus tour. York museum was a must and also enjoyed Clifford's Tower and the Railway Museum.

A little further afield Rievaulx Abbey was fab and Monk Park Farm worth a visit if you have children to entertain.
