Riverside House is an attractive, detached chalet bungalow in generous gardens offering comfortable family accommodation. Located on the quiet Pentire peninsula approx 1 mile from Newquay's busy town centre, the house is just a 5 minute walk from Fistral Beach. Professionally managed and maintained, Riverside House boasts quality furnishings and décor throughout. Linen, towels and welcome pack provided. Rates include utilities and professional cleaning. Sorry no smokers, dogs, stag or hen parties. Family bookings only, Sunday changeover.

Very happy with all aspects of our week in this lovely house.

The location was perfect for us as slightly out of town centre on the Pentire peninsula. We were able to park the car at the back of the house and walk everywhere we needed during the week, a bonus when parking spaces at a premium everywhere. Views overlooks the river, with a footpath to river estuary at the end of the road. A pleasant walk at low tide or when the tide was in we were able to take the ferry to Crantock beach. Fistral beach was only 5 minutes away, and within 20 minutes we were in town centre for pubs restaurants, shops and more beaches.

Very impressed with the 3 double bedrooms, lounge with supply of dvds and books. Light spacious kitchen fully equipped with plenty of cooking facilities, but the American fridge with ice machine was the kids highlight. Never been so easy to get them to drink water.

The garden and patio provided a sun trap, and clothes line for drying the beach wear. There was a washing machine but as only staying the week it was not needed.

Owner was very helpful is recommending surf and paddleboard hire options, but there are plenty of hire shops/surf schools everywhere you go in Newquay.

A great, relaxing holiday. Would recommend without hesitation! Thank you.

Clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. Fantastic views from the front rooms.

This was our first visit to Cornwell and we were very impressed. The house was in walking distance of Fistral Beach and the surfing schools. Newquay was a lovely 20 minutes walk along the headland path. In Newquay there were many excellent restaurants and pubs serving lovely food, especially the Red Lion and The Stable. The South West Coastal Path was in easy reach. There were good road links out of Newquay to surrounding towns and attractions. Would recommend Eden Project, St Ives and Lands End. There were also good bike hire facilities at Trail Bike Hire in Padstow, we were even able to hire an adult trike.The best cream tea was served by Bre Pen Farm and the best Pasty at Land's End.The property was lovely, very spacious and clean. Appreciated the numerous DVDs that were available to use. The garden was lovely and sunny, but be aware of the seagulls if trying to eat outdoors. We would recommend this property to other families.
