‘The Penthouse’ in the beautiful tropical gardens of Capistrano Oasis which has 2 swimming pools, + childs pool and a restaurant on site. It sleeps two, a cot for an infant is provided. It boasts all day and sun and totally private large terrace. Panoramic views of the sea, mountains and countryside. The Penthouse is beautifully furnished and fully equipped. The terrace has ample garden furniture

and sunbeds. The terrace has tropical plants and flowers and the Penthouse is easily accessed by steps from the private road. Burriana beach is 5 minutes by car or for the fitter person can be reached by a cliff top goat track past the ancient aqueduct, and surrounding countryside. There are two supermarkets within walking distance.

We run a small family design studio on the edge of the Lake District. We bought our amazing Penthouse 14 years ago having spent many happy holidays in Nerja before getting a place of our own. We have only recently decided to rent to visitors because our business in the UK is growing and needs us on hand.As the Penthouse is our holiday home it is furnished to a high standard as we wanted to feel home from home. Therefore you will find the accommodation is overflowing with all creatures comforts.

We have recently returned from a two weeks' stay at the Penthouse. It is located in an elevated position on the well-maintained Oasis de Capistrano complex, with the most magnificent views of the sea, and inland towards the mountains. The apartment is spacious, light, bright and airy with all home comfort, extremely well-furnished and with a very well-equipped kitchen. The large, private terrace is the perfect spot for outdoor living, with pretty potted plants, solar lighting, comfortable sun loungers and a large table, chairs and parasol for dining all fresco.

We can't wait to return again and would thoroughly recommend this property.

lovely week taking it easy

Had a week stay in August, really enjoyed the apartment and area.

Jill the owner was a pleasure to deal with as were bob and debs who look after the property , we arrived early and bob and debs were just finish getting the apartment ready for our stay, they showed us around the village pointing out the pool areas and were very informative regarding restaurants etc in nerja.

As I do a lot of driving at home we didn't want to rely on a car for supermarket trips etc. The supermarket is close enough to manage a couple of bags each, by the supermarket there is a drinks bar that also does a very nice pizza and a couple of restaurants. You can go down to the burriana beach were there is plenty of restaurants along the front, you can also walk this way into nerja itself.

Wonderful Stay

The penthouse apartment is totally private with a good sized terrace providing all round views of the sea and mountains. The complex is very pretty and well maintained with plenty of on street parking. The pool and on site facilities are only a few minutes walk away. The apartment itself is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need - a real home from home! The Sky Sports was a definite added bonus. The bed was especially comfortable and the views fantastic. The patio sun loungers have seen better days but apart from that everything was great! The flat walk into Nerja is about 20 minutes but there is a bus service less than a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. A real bonus of this apartment is the fact that it is right at the top of the development, meaning great views and good accessibility. Mercadona supermarket is really close and very well stocked with good quality produce. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Just Brilliant

We’ve just come back from a week in the penthouse. We have rented villas with 10 years and occasionally arrive to find some generous description or photography, this is not the case here. If anything the photographs or description do not do it justice. The apartment has absolutely everything you could ever need in your own home. The terrace has all day sun and is not overlooked from anywhere. We had a car as it’s handy to stock up on heavy items in Eroski if you’re driving from the airport. There is a Mercadona not five minute’s walk that has everything you could ever need so you could do without a car having found this. Its twenty minutes into the centre of activity, get a taxi home for five euro as there can be a lot of uphill on the way home. You don’t realise on the way in that’s it’s all downhill. It’s just heaven to sit on the terrace at eight or nine on the evening as the skies and sunsets are brilliant. The owner was a pleasure to deal with from the first enquiry. There’s no point in saying any more really, if you want a beautiful, well equipped apartment with fantastic sun and views that is totally private and not far away from all the activity you ever need then this is the one. It’s fantastic and one we will return to.

Probably the best views in Capistrano!

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Penthouse.

Having previously been touring other parts of Southern Spain we were ready for a relaxing 'chill out' week and the penthouse certainly ticked all the boxes!

On arrival we were greeted by the most awesome views of stunning mountain scenery, beautiful farmland and sea views!

The penthouse has a large patio with beautiful plants, ample comfortable sunbathing space and facilities for outdoor dining. Inside the penthouse (which is spacious and light) the large picture window continues to provide stunning views and the kitchen has every mod con including an ice maker (essential in 37 degree heat!!!)

Having previously stayed in a number of other properties on Oasis Capistrano we can honestly say that this property has been the most outstanding, the views, (the owners even provide binoculars so that you can keep an eye on the ever changing scenery!!) and excellent facilities make this Penthouse a fantastic choice for a relaxing holiday within a stones throw from Nerja.

We will return!

Penthouse tranquility

My husband and I have just returned from an 11 night stay at the Penthouse in Oasis de Capistrano. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. Beautiful setting with fabulous views of the sea, and also to the mountains from the panoramic patio where the sun shines from dawn til dusk. Fully equipped apartment with washing machine and dishwasher, luxury bathroom and shower. The owners offer use of beach umbrellas, towels and deck chairs which was great for going down to the beach and not having to purchase them ourselves. There are also 2 comfortable sunbeds on the patio also with use of towels.

The apartment is situated in a good location for Burriana Beach. A short drive by car. Plenty of supermarkets closeby and Nerja town centre a short drive away.

Lovely bedroom with cool breeze coming through the window when hot and very comfortable bed with duvet and pillows. Plenty of cupboard space with lots of hangars.

Very well equipped kitchen with oven, hob,microwave, coffee machine and fridge with filtered water and ice making machine.

We would thoroughly recommend this apartment for a tranquil and relaxing holiday.

We certainly look forward to returning there again in the future.

We bought our Penthouse in the Capistrano Oasis area of Nerja because we had spent so many wonderful holidays here previously to buying.We adore the area. We spent many years sourcing our totally private and ideal dream holiday home. A place with uninterupted breathtaking views of the Mediteranean and Mountains..It is set in a lush oasis with hundreds of different species of exotic tropical plants and flowers, palms and fruit trees. We have two swimming pools,A baby pool a petanque court and 2 great restaurants on site as well as fabulous fishponds fed from the waters of the Sierra Nevada and teeming with carp. Although Oasis is separate from the bustle of the town, the Balcon de Europa, tennis courts and many other facilities are easily accessible . It is a 12 minute walk to Nerja.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended


5 minute drive to beach or short cliff top walk past Ancient Aquaduct and countryside.


A 40 minute drive from Malaga Airport. A bus can be taken from Malaga Airport to the Malaga Bus Station, where a Bus to Nerja is available.


A short 5-7 minutes walk from the apartment is a tennis club and a well stocked supermarket.

It is a 20 minute level walk into the town of Nerja.Short drive to ancient village of Frigliana

Further Details:

There are several restaurants within walking distance, 'Los arcos' 'Nerja Club' plus a smaller restaurant at the entrance to Oasis. From Easter to end of September

Food and beverages are available at the pool side from 10 am late evening.

Whilst our Penthouse has the most stunning views all round, it also boasts the only totally 'private large terrace area' with plants and sunbeds,which is not overlooked from any angle. There is a sunshade and outside dining and lounging furniture. Sunshine from dawn till dusk. We sit with a glass of wine each evening and watch the most beautiful of sunsets from our private sun terrace. There is ample parking directly outside on the private road and we benefit from our resident guards patrolling each evening and night. Crime here is pretty much unheard of. Burrianna Beach is a 5 minute Drive or for the fitter amongst you, can be accessed by a short cliff walk along the Ancient Aquaduct. The old village of Maro is just 8 minutes walk.
