Apartment in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, England - The Apartment Has A Communal Garden Area And Is a 5 Minute Walk Down The Coast Path To The Beach

Lanson apartment is situated on the outskirts of Mawgan Porth village and within walking distance to the shops restaurants and pub and beach. We are approx 8 miles from Padstow and Newquay, and about 2 miles from Newquay Airport.The property has 3 bedrooms ,1 x Double room,Twin Room,and a single room.All bedding is provided including Duvets.We do not provide bathing or shower Towels.We also provide a broadband facility,which does not include downloading films.We also have a telephone landline for emergencies.The property is also well equipped with fridge ,freezer,dishwasher,microwave,oven & hob and plasma screen tv

One guest calls it her second home after 13 visits. We also provide a welcome to "Lanson" pack which includes cream/tea, milk, snacks for children etc.

We just love it!!

We have just returned from a lovely 'Birthday Treat break' in Mawgan Porth & stayed in this great apartment. It has everything you could possibly need - well equipped, clean & cosy with the most beautiful view across the bay. You can never get bored with the view! Its a 10 minute walk down the road to the Merry Moore pub which does excellent food & a short walk down to the beautlful beach. A few mornings we were the only ones on the beach - pure heaven!!

We love Mawgan Porth & have booked to go back in summer 2015, so we are now counting down the weeks!!

Activity and Interests


The beach is 10mins walk on the road and 5 mins down the coastal path walking. Mawgan Porth beach large sandy beach with lifeguard cover through the season. There are rock pools for small "fisherman" and a surf school for surfers. There are many beaches within a very close area and a coastal footpath which will take you to Watergate Bay and in the other direction Bedruthan Steps.


Newquay airport 2 miles approx. There are bus services to Padstow, Wadebridge, Newquay. Having a car makes it easy to visit the many attractions in the area. But there are taxis and buses.


Nearest village is Mawgan Porth and St Mawgan is 2 miles away. Padstow is 8 miles and also Newquay 8 miles. Truro ( our county town) is 20 miles approx with many big stores, Cathedral and waterside. The Eden project is about 20 miles towards St Austell as is Heligan Gardens. Crealy adventure park is 6 miles and Old Macdonalds farm is about 5 miles away. There is a racing cart track for both adults and children at St Evel 2 miles away.

Further Details:

Shops in the village will supply you with all your needs. Bettys has newspapers, ice creams and gifts. The shop has full range of groceries, hot pasties bread cakes etc. The Merrymoor pub does food all day with a garden play area overlooking the beach and sea. Fire is another restaurant in the village. There is also crazy golf and pitch and putt
