Spacious apartment with great views.

The apartment is very tastefully decorated and has everything necessary for a self catering holiday. The apartment was very clean. The bunk bed room is a little tight for space for older children but adequate and we utilised the sofa bed in the sitting room to allow our teenage kids to have a room each. The wifi was good and allowed my son to play his games. The huge main bed was very comfortable and the room was great. We loved the powerful shower. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans etc and was stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. The balcony offers great views across the harbour and out to sea. West Looe has a lot of interesting narrow streets to explore and boat trips are easy to book. Easy access to the Coastal Path from West Looe. Lots of options for eating out and coffee stops. I would visit West Looe again would book the same apartment.

Excellent Rame apartment

The apartment was exactly as discribed ,it was big enough everything what we needed and was clean and tidy.Caroline showed us around the apartment and told us about looe and some good places to eat.l would recommend this apartment to friends and family and l would definitely stay at this apartment again .

Great Views and a Very Well Appointed Apartment

We stayed for 4 nights Mon-Fri in January. The apartment is very well equipped and we loved the thoughtfulness of all the special little touches of milk, coffee, tea, prosecco and biscuits. Looe (West and East) is a short walk away, as is the South West Coastal path. Plenty to see, explore and do in Looe (West and East) and surrounding area. Loved the fact the Looe is still very much a working fishing town and we were able to buy fresh fish and seafood. There is also a good farm shop selling local produce near the fish shops. Lots of different and unusual shops in Looe to browse in too. Unfortunately, being January, many of the restaurants were closed, so we didn't eat out apart from having a cream tea in The Kitchenside Bakery, where all the ingredients are locally produced and we really enjoyed the background music too, making for a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic Christmas Break

We had a great Christmas break in this charming and warm apartment. Beautiful decor and little touches such as wine and Christmas treats made it really special. Luckily it was warm enough to sit outside some days and take in the scenery. It's about a 10 minute walk into the centre of the town on the other side. Best meal was at The ancient Mariner and best pub was the Jolly Sailor. Would recommend to anyone. The only criticism is that I would have liked a non stick pan and some oven gloves :p Thanks for everything Caroline Happy New Year! X

Excellent holiday!

We had a wonderfully comfortable week at Rame, the fabulous view of east Looe...... the beach....... banjo pier etc.... was enjoyed from the lounge bay window seat on colder days and from the patio on the warm sunny mornings....it was very beautifulfrom our elevated position! master bedroom withdressing room and ensuite was nicely done; the bed was enormous and mattress comfortable. Plenty of hot water in an effecient shower.

West Looe has good local shops/deli along with a lively pub for drinks and sea chanties.

Excellent walking directly from the appartment, along coastal paths and up the wooded estuary/creek.

Altogether an excellent choice!

Location

In 2007 my husband and I thought we would try out a little business venture in self catering holiday accommodation...we hunted high and low for a fishermans cottage in Looe but none of them offered views of the stunning coast or harbour. When we saw 2 bed Rame apartment, it was an instant decision to buy....the views are stunning, I've yet to see better. We have upgraded the apartment throughout to a very high standard, the lounge is light, bright and airy with all the comforts of home and stunning views of the beach and river. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and both bedrooms are on suite. The large master has a Super King size bed and luxury shower room, the second being smaller with bunk beds for the little ones. Rame has everyithg needed for a fantastic hoilday.

Special interest holidays:

Looe has a lot to offer and is also a great base to explore other parts of Cornwall. From Paint a Pot to Looe Music Festival, the variety of things to do vary. Each year Looe has its Taste of West Food Festival, Annual duck race, children can enjoy crabbing on the quay, fishing trips, relaxing on the beach, coastal walks, further a field is the Eden Project and a variety of National Trust properties to choose from. You won't be bored!

Coast/Beach:

Looe beach can be viewed from the apartments and is a 10 minute walk away. If the tide is in you can hop across on the taxi boat which is a quaint little trip across the river.

Cornwall is full of lovely beaches to explore, Whitsand Bay is a favourite.

Travel:

You can reach us by Train, Plane and Automobile....There is ferry port in Plymouth (20 miles away) if you are travelling from France or Spain. Exeter Airport (50 miles away), car hire is available from UK airports. Looe Train station is a 15 minute walk from the apartment, I can collect guests with prior arrangement.

Distances:

Looe is a 30 minute drive from the Devon boarder, once in Looe you can explore the neighbouring ports of Polperro and Fowey. For a day out there are all the National Trusts Gardens/Houses to visit. The Eden Project is 30 minutes away.

Further Details:

Looe has everything you need, from quality restaurants, coffee bars, pasty shops, gift shops, a selection of banks and small supermarkets...even Tesco deliver!

Rame is beautifully decorated through out and fully equipped for your self catering holiday. One can enjoy the panoramic views the apartment has to offer from its patio or from the lounge bay window seat. Rame is situated in a quiet location just a brief stroll from the shops, restaurants and beach and the foot ferry to East Looe is just a two minute walk away. Coastal paths are on the doorstep, mackerel fishing, crabbing on the quay and a trip around Looe Island on the glass bottom boat is all on your door step.
