"The accommodation is really comfortable and well equipped, the location is great-quiet and peaceful Cornish countryside but only a stones throw from the coast and some of the larger towns and tourist hotspots-and you really did make us feel at home.



We would definitely like to return and we'll be telling our friends and family about what a gem we have found!"

Far from the madding crowd

The situation is beautiful, everything you would require for a self catering holiday inside and out. Clean spacious accommodation. Helen & Rob very helpful, lovely people. Our granddaughter particularly enjoyed Scarlett's company. Perfect for exploring either coastline.

Perfect Location

Felt at home as soon as you walked through the door. Well appointed accommodation which had everything you needed. Nice touches were the Easter eggs for the children and scones with clotted cream/jam - perfect after a long drive. Perfectly placed for many attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Rob and Helen were most welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you and we'll definitely be back.

Fantastic find

arrived Friday evening greeted by Helen very welcoming and friendly. Helen showed us around the cottage. Rob and Helen had been very kind with leaving us a bunch of flowers, chocolates, bottle of bubbly and a card for our anniversary which was unexpected but amazing. Thank you.

Kids loved playing in the garden with scarlet. An amazing cottage with everything you could possibly need.

We will be back.

Fantastic

We stayed there for a week at the beginning of this year.

Perfectly situated at the entrance in Cornwall, the place is within easy drive to all that Cornwall has to offer.

The Barn itself is very spacious and homey and well appointed, in a very secluded rural area( in one of the clear nights we saw the Milky Way for the first time in many many years).

The owners were very kind and helpful and keen to help and assist in any way they could, with plenty of information offered about places to see, things to do, local shops and supermarkets, etc.

We will definitely stay there again as we found the place to be a quiet romantic hideaway which is also child friendly.

Thank you very much Helen and Rob, we hope to see you again soon.

Brilliant stay

We have recently stayed here for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is very spacious, well kept and peaceful. Trehunist is a lovely rural Cornish village and it is ideally located to explore other areas in Cornwall very easily. I would recommend this holiday let and the family who live next door are friendly and helpful.

A Fabulous Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Kernow Barn with our two boys (aged 7 & 5) it suited our needs perfectly. It was clean and very spacious and a joy to stay in during our week.

The surrounding countryside was beautiful and quiet which made our stay even more enjoyable. There is so much to do in this area of Cornwall with Adrenaline Quarry and Cornwalls Maize Maze, which was great fun, just around the corner.

The weather was fantastic, we were able to visit so many other places, Tintagel, Eden Project, Plymouth, and Looe just to name a few.

I would recommend a visit to Sharrow Beach not far from Portwrinkle, this is one of the most beautiful sandy coves we have visited in the UK and would definitely go back to.

We visited the American Diner, Route 38 one evening and were really pleased we did. The food was delicious and the boys wanted to eat there every day. Another lovely restaurant we visited was Aglio Olio an Italian Restaurant in Plymouth and again the food was beautiful.

The owners Rob and Helen and their four children are really lovely people and went out their way to help us in whatever way they could. The boys had great fun playing with Scarlett and loved the horses and Luna the dog.

I would highly recommend Kernow Barn Holidays to everybody and would definitely return to this peaceful, picturesque place. It has to be one of the best holidays we have had in the UK.
