Apartment in Geroskipou, Paphos, Cyprus - Close To Historic Village Centre

This superior, sunny and peaceful end of block accommodation has a large shared pool and beautiful landscaped gardens. This is our home from home, well-equipped and furnished to a high standard, with comfortable Italian sofas and dining set. Bedroom 1 has a large, comfortable double bed with a memory foam mattress topper and patio doors to the main balcony. Bedroom 2 has comfortable twin beds with memory foam mattress toppers and patio doors to the side balcony. The bright and spacious living area, has patio doors to the main balcony and a big picture window giving picturesque views across the surrounding countryside. UK Freeview, with all UK channels, and WiFi are available. The kitchen is fully-equipped and the large bathroom has a window. Bedrooms and living area have ceiling fans and the bedrooms air conditioning. Both balconies have wooden patio furniture. The apartment has a designated underground parking space and is on the first floor, served by stairs and lift. Geroskipou village with all its amenities is a short walk away and Paphos old town and market, port, sea front and beaches are all a short bus ride or drive away.

The perfect getaway

Came to this wonderful apartment in September for a 10 day getaway for two, and it was absolutely fabulous. This apartment really is a home away from home and had everything you could possibly need - we particularly enjoyed the reclining patio chairs! The front balcony is lovely with beautiful views and nothing was better than sitting with a G&T watching the sun go down. The pool is very large, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas to go around. The complex is well maintained, clean and everyone is very friendly.

The village of Yeroskipou is a short walk away and is a lovely, traditional Cypriot village - with wonderful tavernas, cafes and shops. The supermarket and bakery are also a short walk away.

There's loads to do and see in Paphos - we particularly enjoyed going to the port for a coffee at 'Hobos', as well as out for a cocktail in the main town in the evening. If you fancy venturing further afield, we had a wonderful day out at Fassouri Waterpark just outside Limassol. Next time we come we are going to try out Aphrodite Waterpark in Paphos. The nearby beaches are a wonderful place to relax.

This apartment offers absolutely fantastic value for money - it's luxurious without the price tag - not to be missed! The perfect place for a young couple (both in our twenties) to relax and unwind. Will be back again!

Lovely quiet place

This apartment was lovely it had everything you could need.The supermarket is close and well stocked.The pool is great.The village is a 10 minute walk with a few places to eat.

Excellent Apartment

The apartment is very well appointed and well equipped. 2 good size bedrooms balconies a large lining / dining area and a decent kitchen.

The location is ideal for exploring the west of Cyprus located about 4/5 km from Paphos Town / tourist areas. You probably need a hire car and there is a reserved space with the apartment

We mostly went out and about in the day and it was great to be able to either have an early morning ao late afternoon swim in the pool which was never too busy.

We ate out quite a lot and there are a few decent places within walking distance.

Fantastic apartment

Two of us stayed in this apartment in July and had a fantastic week.

We were met by the owner's "person on the ground" who kindly picked us up from the airport (and drove us back for our return flight). The apartment is spacious, comfortable and had been thoroughly cleaned. The balcony is perfect for eating outside, being quiet and getting a good amount of sunshine all day. The pool is large, and even in the July peak season was never too busy. There are nice restaurants just a ten-minute walk into town and the local supermarket is only a few minutes down the road. The bus stop is also close by and regular buses run to and from Paphos.

We would definitely stay here again, it was excellent value and provided a fantastic base for exploring Paphos, whilst being in a quiet, friendly and relaxing small town.

Sumptuous Apartment in the Sun!! A MUST!!

I would thoroughly recommend this apartment ...in fact, I can't wait to book it again for next year!

We booked this apartment for a weeks relaxation in the sun - and BOY DID IT DELIVER!!!

A beautifully finished apartment with everything you need to make your stay comfortable- this place really had it all. We were pleasantly surprised to find everything so modern and well thought through; we were travelling on a budget and found cooking in on a few occasions an enjoyable experience.

It is so clean!!!

The owners kindly put us in touch with a local lady who picked us up from the airport and had kindly got a few "essentials" in for when we arrived (all at VERY reasonable cost). I would definitely do this again as we later found a local taxi was double her asking price.

The balconies really make this apartment; they are the prefect place to start the day with breakfast or watch the sun go down and enjoy a G+T...or two!

There is a very large swimming pool in the grounds. It is big enough to enjoy a good swim and varies in depth. Again this is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. A lovely place to cool off after enjoying the sun.

The flat is close to a good shop and well located to use the local bus service, which is regular and reliable. We had no problem using the buses and easily found our way to the harbour, tomb of the kings, coral bay, etc on the service.

There is a lot to do in the local area and all tastes and ages are catered for; from water parks to UNESCO sites.

In summary, I would give this property 10/10 and will definitely be going back.

Spot of Cypriot Heaven

What a wonderfully comfortable and homely flat in a fantastic location. My girlfriend and I were looking for escapism from the hustle and bustle of home and spent a week relaxing by the idyllic and beautifully warm pool in the constant sunshine without a care in the world. The flat was gorgeous and so easy to enjoy with all you could need already provided, good sized bedrooms and a balcony overlooking the mountains to sit, eat and relax with a cold beer. There is a real feel and atmosphere of 'make yourselves at home' here. Paphos is also only 10 minutes away with frequent and reliable bus links to the harbour and old town, perfect if you don't want to hire a car. If you want to venture out there are a host of delectable, authentic Cypriot restaurants and lively bars within walking distance too. I would thoroughly recommend this place to all and look forward to going back again. An absolute delight.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

The Troodos ski resort is approximately an hour away by car and offers beginner skiing lessons, with professional instructors and winter ski schools. There are 4 ski-run lifts, with cafés and restaurants in the resort and skiing is on offer between January and mid-March (sometimes April, depending on the weather!).


Geroskipou beach is only a mile away in an unspoilt, quiet location that is preferred by the locals and referred to, by some, as the best kept secret in the Paphos district. At one end of the beach you will find a lovely taverna offering local cuisine and at the other, one of the many excellent fish restaurants on the island.


Paphos International Airport is only 15 minutes away and we can arrange for you to be met with a car. There is a good bus service and taxis are always available so car hire is not essential. However, it is advisable if you want to explore the beauty of Southern Cyprus and we can arrange for a car at a very reasonable price. Book a car prior to your visit during peak season, (there is ample parking and many good deals).


Paphos old town and market, port, sea front and beaches are all a short bus ride or drive away, or a longer walk. Picturesque trails in the Troodos Mountains or Akamas Peninsular are about a 1-hour drive. The motorway is a ten-minute drive, from which Limassol (a 1-hour drive) and Larnaca and Nicosia (approx a 90-minute drive) can be reached.

There are many permanent residents on the complex, giving it a well-cared-for and homely feel. Geroskipou village centre, with its famous historic church and beautiful, new, classic, stone-built pedestrian area is a 2-minute walk away. Here you can find supermarkets, bars, tavernas, banks, post office, folk museum, wicker shops, and Cyprus Delight sweet shops. A few minutes walk from the apartment, in the opposite direction, are a taverna owned by one of the residents and couple of potteries. There is also an Olympic-sized, heated swimming pool in Geroskipou, as well as a Water Park, go-karting, bowling and horse riding nearby. A short bus ride away is the fabulous new Kings Avenue Shopping Mall with shops galore, a multiplex cinema and cafés.
