Notes on accommodation: We accept small dogs in our accommodation with prior arrangement "Bring your faithful friend on holiday with you" We will supply your canine companion with a big fleecy blanket to keep them warm and comfortable for the duration of their stay. We do however have a couple of house rules; * If left alone in the apartment, I will not bark,foul the room, chew the furnishings or sleep in my owners bed. If I do my owner has agreed to settle costs for any damages caused. Utility Room: Boot room on entrance to the apartment, handy for storage/ dog bed/ drying wet boots, clothes and bikes Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and Linen are included, Spares included at no extra charge

Fabulous place to stay, everything you need and bed really, really comfortable. Fab location. Lots of good walks and places to eat. Dogs welcome too.

Lovely, relaxed stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Loft - it was perfect for our needs. We were welcomed by the owner. The loft was clean, comfortable and well-situated. Plenty of information regarding local attractions and reading matter available. We had meals at 2 nearby pubs - The Filly - which can be walked to and The Hobler - which we reached by car. Both were excellent and the service and atmosphere was lovely.

July holiday break

A warm welcome from the owner and the accommodation was as the pictures but there was some issue with the place,which let it down.

Firstly the oven was dirty and evident that it had not been cleaned for some time and thick dust and dirt to the floor under the bed.

The accommodation was to the roof barn conversion and the floor below is used as a catering business, which also had a mobile unit outside with a refrigerator unit and was noisy, humming all the time..

Although you go down a small lane to reach the barn, it is directly adjacent to the main road ( Brockenhurst to lymington ). The position of the barn means that all windows are facing each way to the road. As we like a window open, the traffic kept waking us up of a night.

Would we go there again, disappointingly, definitely not

Cosy, relaxing holiday accomodation

We had a wonderful stay in the "Loft". It had everything there that we wanted. It has been beautifully decorated. A two minute walk down the road is "The Filly Inn". We had a really delicious meal there with excellent service. We also hired bikes in Brockenhurst and explored Burley, Lymington, Lyndhurst and Beaulieu. The accommodation is in a perfect location to do all of this.

Lovely space but needs to up its game

Lovely space but there were a few niggles that other similar properties / rentals always do very well - this place needs to up its game a little -i.e. Microwave not working, no spare loo roll, no welcome on arrival as arranged, no contact from owner throughout, noisey owners in garage below / house next door at 1am etc, cobwebs needed dusting etc etc. If these little things were fixed then it'd be so much better.

Further Details:

There are numerous pubs, restaurants and cafes in Brockenhurst along with a good selection of high quality shops and local amenities including chemist, post office, banks and grocery stores.

Cycle hire and riding opportunities for all levels is also available in the village as well as horse drawn wagon tours.

The village itself is peaceful with plenty of grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle wandering by. Many of the main walks and cycle trails through the New Forest start in Brockenhurst which is set in some of loveliest scenery in the district, which makes it perfect for a lazy picnic by the river for the less energetic.

For those that like a bit of pampering Spa days can also be enjoyed at a selection of local top award winning Hotels in and around Brockenhurst and

a wide choice of water sports including sailing and windsurfing are easily accessible from Lymington and the surrounding area.
