Notes on accommodation: Children are well catered for with an outdoor secure back garden and also the lovely pool across from the property. Cots and highchairs are available and there are child safety gates securing the top and bottom of the stairs. All bills/utilities and Leisure Centre Access are included in the rental price. There are NO hidden costs. Responsible pet owners are welcome. The property is available for rental throughout the year. July and August are the peak time and do tend to book out very quickly. We run specials and offers at different times so it is best to contact us directly for the best price at your chosen time. Outside: There is a lovely secure gated garden at the back of the house with outdoor seating and table. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cleaned thoroughly before each arrival. All towels and linens are included during your stay. There is an extra charge if you choose to have a mid stay clean or linen/towel change. Other: The downstairs area is a great space as it has large well defined areas for dining,cooking and relaxing.Unlike many holiday rentals you will feel that you have so much room no matter the size of your family.

Thanks Kris....the house was great for our party of 4. First time to Irreland and won't be our last. The house was great and great location. Couldn't really figure out t he washer dryer...oh well. You made our arrival easy. Thanks again; Nancy Hedlund

This is a great space for a crowd of 9! It’s clean and spacious

A great location to access the little downtown area. We had 9 adults and the space was adequate . It’s clean and spacious. It was wonderful having 3 and 1/2 bathrooms. I would suggest that the owner provide a coffee pot and more toilet paper as we ran out, and instructions on how to adjust water and heat temperature . Other than those couple incidentals we had a marvelous stay.

Beautiful home & so close to everything in Kenmare

The house was beautiful and very convenient to walk over to the Kenmare town square. There is a quiet walking path behind the house that takes you straight there and no need to walk along busy roads! If you need any quick groceries, it's just across the street at the Centra store. Or you can go to larger stores like Lidl just down the road.

Back to the house, we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Patricia even went out of her way to find us some extras that we needed. Living room is comfy and the bedrooms were as well. A nice patio in the back for breakfast outside and a view of the sheep in the neighboring farm. Multiple bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get ready at once.

As the town is situated on Kenmare Bay you are always within close walking distance to the Bay area.

There are also several lovely sandy beaches on the Ring of Kerry within a 30 minute drive.


Car Hire is recommended but not essential as the house is so close to the town centre and has 2 hotels adjacent to it.

The nearest airport is Kerry airport which is approx a 45 minute drive.

Cork airport is approx a 75 minute drive.


Kenmare town centre is a 5 minute walk away along a lovely path that runs from directly beside the house.

Killarney is a 30 minute drive.

Cork City is approx a 1 hour drive.

The house is situated directly on the Ring of Kerry.

Further Details:

There are numerous excellent restaurants and pubs within walking distance of the property. Kenmare is known as a "gourmet town" so you will be spoiled for choice.

Throughout the year there are different festivals and events in the town and there is an excellent live music scene especially for those who enjoy traditional Irish music.

Shopping fans in the family are also well catered for with some lovely local craft shops,book shops and a farmers market every Wednesday.

There is a very good grocery shop directly across the road and there are 2 larger Supermarkets about a 3 minute drive away.
