Ideally located directly overlooking the beautiful marina, with the local tapas bars and restaurants within an easy one minute walk. Two E.C. Blue Flag beaches are just a leisurely five minute walk away and the traditional white walled Estepona old town with its stunning, traditional plaza's is also on the doorstep. Cristo Beach (5 minutes west of the apartment) is a delightful oyster-shaped cove of sheltered, gently shelving sand, ideal for children and La Rada Beach (5 minutes East of the apartment) runs for 2km past the old town and is a lovely walk along the promenade (Paseo Maritimo).There you will find also some nice chiringuitos (beach front restaurants) with a true Spanish feel. Ideal for spending a full day on the beach! Within a few minutes walk you will find several supermarkets and shops. Estepona has many facets which makes it a popular holiday destination for those looking for a relaxing break to unwind, eat well, have a cool drink and chill out people watching.

About Cynthia Meeus

Dear guest,

We are a mixed Belgian / Spanish couple. I came to live in Spain in 1999. The first 10 years I run my own beautiful B&B in the mountains of Álora. But then, one day I decided to move to the coast and so it happened that I arrived in Estepona, where I met Fabian. Fabian is a beekeeper. So we try to act as " green" as possible. (The apartment is run on green electricity) Fabian came to live in Estepona in 1985.

Till today, we both think we found paradise. We love Estepona!

The harbour with his ambiance, the old town with all the nice shops and lively atmosphere, the nature all around and of course the beach.

We hope to welcome you one day and let you explore the sunny and friendly life in Estepona.

Why Cynthia Meeus chose West Costa del Sol

.I bought this property in 2012, because I still lived in the mountains and wanted my own spot at the coast. As soon as I entered in the apartment and saw the view through the windows, I knew it was my place! All that light and that spacious terrace!

My plan is to come and live there once I am older. I think it must be wonderful to have that view all day and go out, have a cofee next door, supermarkt around the corner, beach on 5 min... It's a wonderful place.

What makes this apartment unique

This flat has such a good position, front line in the harbor, and such a spacious terrace. Every room in the apartment has a sea view. And no neighbors above!

A Great Winter Break in Estepona Port

This was a lovely, welcoming flat to stay in and we were there for 10 weeks over the winter. Cynthia was always helpful and friendly and responded to any requests right away. The location of the flat is excellent with great views on to the port and it was really good to be in the heart of things with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The flat is very bright and is filled with sun each morning. The balcony is spacious and is a lovely spot to watch the world go by or sit and have breakfast. We were very comfortable in this apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We would highly recommend it.

I have known and loved Estepona since the 1970s having had our own apartment up until a couple of years ago.

Good to meet Cynthia after having had several emails with her, always prompt with replies to my questions.

This apartment was just such a great place to stay, in the hub of the port but not noisy with revellers and late night music. Great place for people watching! Two local supermarkets and a pharmacy are close by and the Es town

First impressions - fabulous! Such a spacious apartment with open plan sitting, dining and kitchen Spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds, linen, towels, hot showers or a bath if you prefer! Plenty of room even with a crowd as the inside flows to the outside!

Super fast wii fii too!

It is in an older building with no lift, two swimming pools with sun beds and all very well maintained. Supermarkets and pharmacy are close by and a short walk along the paseo (promenade) is a treat to pretty Estepona town!

Highly recommend our experience!

Lovely apartment. Great views and local restaurants.

Stayed here late March. We loved the apartment views and location. It worked well for us. Great restaurants locally and everything we needed. As we were early in the season it went chilli at night so we settled down and found the sofa and tele very cosy~ home from home.

Beautiful apartment gorgeous views

Checking in was easy, a lovely gentleman was waiting for us on arrival. Apartment has everything you need, very roomy and beautifully decorated. The terrace its lovely with plenty of seating and amazing views of the marina. Location is lovely plenty of restaurants and bars and only a 20 minute walk to the old town along the seafront. A wonderful holiday had by all!

Beautiful spacious apartment with fantastic views.

Just returned from a lovely stay at this apartment. The location was perfect within walking distance to beautiful beaches, restaurants and everything you would need for a great holiday. Accommodation was nice and spacious and well kept, views of marina from the balcony were amazing. Owners were really friendly and helpful, I would gladly return to this property.

Central, comfortable and beautiful views!

We are a couple in our 30's and were over for a wedding. We selected this property due to its central location to the restaurants, port, market etc. The owners continually communicated excellent before we arrived and met us promptly to give us the keys and show us around. The views are amazing from the terrace! The rooms are the perfect size, beds are comfortable (lovely white clean linen) and the apartment has everything you need! There is even a washing machine to clean everything before you go home! We were shown the 2 communal pools that were available but unfortunately never had chance to use them but that's a lovely bonus to have too. The whole place is secure with key fobs and keys to get in and out. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Estepona. The bus service from airport costs approx €10 each way, airport transfers €50 or a taxi €100! You are very close to Gibraltar for days trips - Puerto Banus/Marbella are also a couple of miles down the road. We will be back :) thank you so much for a fabulous comfortable break.

Nearest Airport : Malaga at 85 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Playa del Christo at 400 Metres

Coast/Beach:

Cristo Beach (5 minutes walking west of the apartment) is a delightful oyster-shaped cove of sheltered, gently shelving sand, ideal for children and La Rada Beach (5 minutes East of the apartment) runs for 2km past the old town and is a lovely walk along the promenade (Paseo Maritimo). For many years both beaches have been awarded EC Blue Flag status for cleanliness and safety and in high season are manned daily with lifeguards. They also have well maintained toilet and shower facilities .

Travel:

Malaga airport: 90 km and Gibraltar at less than 40 km.

Car hire is not essential, because you can find everything on walking distance. There are also always taxi's on 2 min walk if you want to visit Marbella, or Puerto Banus. There is also a bus station on 8 min. walk that can bring you to Puerto Banus, Marbella, Fuengirola and Malaga ( beautiful city to visit).

As an extra service we can arrange for your airport pick-up and drop off.

Distances:

Estepona is situated approximately midway between Marbella and Gibraltar. 10 minutes from glitzy Puerto Banus and 15 minutes from cosmopolitan Marbella. For the kids, the renowned Selwo National Animal Park is a short drive away.

Further Details:

Estepona is an excellent centre for sightseeing; Marbella, Puerto Banus, Mijas, Casares, Ronda and Gibraltar are just a short drive away. Jerez, famous for its sherry bodegas, Granada with the wondrous Alhambra Palace and of course Seville, considered by many to be the most beautiful city in Spain, are all within easy reach. Even Morocco can be easily reached from the passenger ferry ports (less than an hour from the apartment by car) or daily coach trips are available to book.

The Port of Estepona (where this property is situated) is one of the most sought after locations for holidaymakers when visiting Estepona, with an abundance of restaurants and bars to suit every taste and pocket.

Just a few minutes walk past the near by Estepona bull ring and along the Paseo Maritimo will take you to the heart of Estepona´s town.

Present day Estepona is almost unchanged, retaining the Andalucian flavour and rustic charm of old Spain. You can relax at one of the cafes or bars, or stroll through the picturesque narrow streets and tiny plazas.

You will see that it's not difficult to drive to Estepona. Once from the airport you go direction Algeciras/ Marbella / Cadiz. Follow that direction. The easiest is that when you take the first part to Marbella on the toll road, it's about 5 €, Once arriving in Marbella, automatically you come of the toll road and you just keep on following Algeciras, Estepona. Also this time you can choose for the toll road, but it's easy to not take to toll road there. Just keep following the A7. You will pass another tunnel and will arrive in Puerto Banus. Just keep on going on the same A7 for another 25 minutes. The first exit off Estepona you take,go off the A7, and drive direction beach. Now you are at the beginning of the village of Estepona, and you have to arrive at the other side, where the harbor is. But this is nice, you will drive along the sea, pass the center and keep going another 3 km, till you arrive at a round about with a sail on ( harbor), there you go left and right. At the end of this street ( Avenida Louis Braille) is the big free parking. I will be waiting for you there.

  • Notes on accommodation: All the beds are of good quality and the windows in the bedrooms are soundproof. The apartment has a real open feeling, with lot's of natural light and all the rooms have seaviews. There is a very big water heater, so even with 5 people you can all take a hot bath! Outside: There are two big shared swimming pools with loungers. The one just around the corner of our apartment block has palm trees around and grassed surface. Utility Room: Babysit available! In schoolholidays and weekends. We have a daughter of 18 who's really good with kids, and she loves to earn a bit of extra money this way. So relax, your kids are in the best hands! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Property is professionally cleaned prior to occupancy and clean towels and linen supplied at start of rental. Cleaning service during the stay available on request payable by holiday maker. Other: The terrace is a real pleasure, it's made like a bar to sit at , so when you have your breakfast you can enjoy the hustle down at the port. You can also sunbathe on the loungers, and when there is to much sun you can cover it all up.
