About the Owner

Peter and Jos Hadfield moved to Cornwall in 2008, having fallen in love with the completely derelict Roselidden Farm because of its stunning location and its panoramic views. They have gradually been renovating the buildings and landscaping the grounds ever since. Jos is also an artist, and teaches Tai Chi and Calligraphy in the restored Long Barn.

Very plush, 5 star accommodation

  • 5 of 5

Lovely property. Warm. Welcoming and very good value. The only very small downside was a lack of hot water in the shower - no doubt down to user error. The best bit? The wood burner in the bedroom. Lovely.

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed your short break at the Well House, and hope to see you again, when we can sort out your showering difficulties. The boiler fires up on demand from the shower, and hot water can take a minute or two to get through. It is easy to play with the temperature control too early, and inadvertently set the shower to cold rather than hot! Once shown, it all seems so simple! We are glad you enjoyed the wood burner, which comes into its own during the winter months. Peter and Jos Hadfield

What a find!

  • 5 of 5

Wow! We needed a bed and four walls rather last minute for a visit to family in Helston. We feel so lucky to have found this haven! Just enough room for us and our 2 children, the luxury of this cottage was so exciting! Underfloor heating, wood burner in the bedroom, lovely shower, dishwasher, everything we needed. And someone has a very artistic eye, everything wAs lovely , right down to the detail. Thanks !

The Well House offers plenty of space, privacy, comfort and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The surroundings are breath taking. The location has easy access to many of Cornwall's beautiful spots. Peter and Jos were so welcoming and warm. Highly recommended, if you are looking for peace and tranquillity, with very cozy and spacious accommodation. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back. Russ and Clenia
