About the Owner

I bought the house three years ago to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and relax by the sea . I love Seaton for it's quiet charm and friendliness . It is so conveniently close to the busier places such as Lyme Regis and Beer but calmer .

I have two teenage children and two terriers . The dogs love all the wonderful walks , the teenagers prefer the skate park !

Amazing house

  • 5 of 5

The property is amazing. It has all the amenities you can imagine. it is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Apart from two bedrooms upstairs everything is on the ground floor.

We were impressed with Maddie's customer service, texting us whilst to check that all was well.

The only con is that the matress on the single bedroom is too soft, but we are wishing to come back again as soon as possible.

Lovely home - great holiday

  • 5 of 5

My elderly mother and I spent a week here with my dog. The house is lovely, very well equipped, clean and comfortable with a conservatory front and back to lounge in. Apart from two bedrooms upstairs everything was on the ground floor which made it perfect for my mother who has limited mobility. The garden is secure for dogs and very pretty. Seaton centre and beach are about 10 minutes walk away but it is not a flat walk so not suitable for my mother - there was free disablity parking on the front though so this was not a problem. The town is small and uncommercialised although you can get on the Tramway here which is an oldfashioned fun ride and also there is a wellsized Tesco. The cobbled beach is very long and dogs are allowed on at either end but not in the middle in peak season. Lyme Regis and Sidmouth are in close driving distance and are both well worth the visit. We only ate out at Winstons as we wanted somewhere nice to take the dog - we found it very nice and welcoming with good food. I would definitely recommend the house to stay in and would say the owner was very helpful, accomodating and responsive to my questions.

We had a wonderful stay with lovely long walks on the beach and supper at nearby restaurants. . It was great to come back to a comfortable and welcoming house. The house has everything you need and we left full of sea air and rested. Bliss !

September Holiday

  • 5 of 5

The description and photos of the property were spot on. The location was 5 minutes walk from the sea front (as stated).

The house was clean and well kept and the garden superb particularly for dogs as it was completely enclosed.

This is the first time we have rented a holiday cottage and I was impressed with Maddie's customer service, e-mailing me whilst I was there to check that all was well.

I would recommend this property to everyone. Thanks,
