This brand new spacious 3 bedroom apartment, (sleeps 6/8) sits on the hillside above the historic fishing village of Postira, yet is only a 5 min walk to the harbour side and 7 mins to the nearest beach. The large balcony offers wonderful views of the old village, the sea and the mountains. You will be greeted at the property by a English Speaking agent, who is there to help make your stay enjoyable. Postira is known for its lovely harbour and seafront cafes where you can enjoy delicious local food, with seafood caught that morning by the local fishermen.

Great stay in Postira !

We are a family of 4 persons (2 adults and 2 kids) and we had a great in Susan's apartment.

The pictures of the website do reflect how the apartment is. 3 nice bedrooms a large bathroom and a great place to cook . We had lunch on the balcony with a beautiful on the village of Postira and also a soccer field :-).

In Postira you will find eveything you need for your vacation : beaches (about 3) , restaurants and bars (fixed price for a nice expresso : 1 Euro !) and a supermarket to get some food. You will also find people selling fresh fruit and vegetables on a daliy base !

Nearly every evening, there was some entertainment on the harbour which makes you stay real nice.

I really recommend this place and Susan and Zlatko on site are really helpful and nice people !

Beautiful

We loved the apartment and location. The views are fabulous. The photographs are acurate - no hidden pylon! The owner, Susan, was very helpful. The local people were warm and friendly. I thoroughly recommend this apartment. We were a party of 5, myself, husband, two sons aged 21 & 17, plus a girlfriend aged 19. The holiday was a real success, peaceful, interesting and beautiful. Plenty of good restaurants and happy 'holiday atmosphere' without being overdeveloped. The ferry crossing was part of the holiday - the ferry was modern, clean and comfortable and the sea is the most glorious turquoise colour.

Perfect.....

The perfect holiday apartment on a beautiful island....... Getting to Brac was so quick and trouble free .... And arriving at the apartment we were thrilled with the space, cleanliness and home from home feel and totally wowed by the huge balcony and amazing views. Postira is lovely and quiet with bars and restaurants a lovely bakery and small market to buy local fruit and veg. We loved finding secluded bays and walking to magical villages. We would hire a car on our next visit to see more although the local bus and taxes are good value. Only downside the unlit and rough path down to the village and beach. Highly recommend this apartment and island.

Lovely

Getting to this apartment ran like clockwork and we were greatly impressed with the apartment itself. Immaculately kept, spacious and the view from the balcomy was beautiful. Before arriving we had a few questions and the owner always replied both promptly and in detial. The only possible negative would be the access down to Postira as the route from the apartment to the small town (also delightful), is down a small rickety path and therefore might not be suitable for the elderly or the very young. This is the only reason I gave the property 4 and not 5.

The fishing port of Postira is lovely with a few bars and restaurants as well as essentials such as supermarkets. I would certainly suggest renting a car, but there are buses too. Everywhere we visited during our stay we loved, the scenery is breathtaking and the people are friendly. I certainly intend to go back.

super apartment

The apartment was excellent. Really clean and well appointed. The only thing we wanted was a bigger fridge freezer and then one appeared. Great views too and in a lovely village. We went on to Supetar but much preferred Postira. Would recommend highly.

Only downside was uneven and unlit path to town and beach.

The apartment is only 2 years old and offers comfortable spacious living areas and modern well designed bathrooms which I find a total must in a rental property. Croatia offers wonderful weather, food and a relaxed way of living.

Nearest Airport : Split Croatia at 30 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Postira Harbour at 400 Metres Nearest Ferry : Split to Supetar Brac at 12 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Postira Harbour at 400 Metres Nearest Beach : Postira at 500 Metres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

From the apartment, it is a easy 5 min walk to the harbour, or a 7 min walk to the beach which has a cafe open in the high season. There are wonderful wooded walks along the coast where you can find secluded rocky access points which you can have all to yourself. It is a 2km walk or a short drive to Lovrecina sandy beach. The Hotel Lipa has a swimming pool which is open to non residents for a small charge.

Travel:

Split is the nearest airport and is served by many airlines including Croatia Airlines from London and Gatwick. Easyjet from Bristol, Gatwick and Luton and Wizz from Luton. It is a 30 minute bus/taxi ride from Split airport to Split ferry port. There is a regular ferry from Split to Supetar ( the main town of Brac) and takes 50 mins.

Postira is 8km from Supetar, which is the town that the ferry arrives from Split on the mainland and is 15 mins by taxi/car.

Postira is 8km from Supetar, 2 kms to Splitska.

Further Details:

Postira has a selection of small shops, supermarkets, a bank, ATM, small hotels, restuarants, post office and a open air market. The cafes and hotels offer free wifi. You can even buy fresh fish from the fishermen on the quayside.

To confirm a booking a 25% deposit is required. This is refundable up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period and non-refundable there after.

The balance of the rental is required 45 days (6weeks) before the rental period.

We also require a security deposit of £200 on full payment which is refundable one week after departure, subject to any deduction towards damage or heavy cleaning.

Notes on prices:
Prices are based on 6 people sharing.
The sofa bed in the living room can accommodate a further two persons. A maximum of 8 people sharing.
