The property is set in the picturesque village of Triquivijate being surrounded by views of the mountains. Casa Mariposa is within walking distance of restaurants, bars & shop & is a short drive from the golf courses & beaches of Caleta de Fuste. The villa is ideally suitable for families & couples who want to relax, unwind & sunbathe in private. Casa Mariposa is ideal for enthusiasts of outdoor living. There is an equestrian centre within walking distance of the villa & also a nature reserve to suit bird watchers, walkers or mountain bikers. Water sports are available in the nearby beach resort of Caleta de Fuste where scuba diving, snorkelling, wind surfing, jet skis, deep sea fishing, catamaran trips etc may be experienced.
Pool heating is available at NO extra charge & is included in the booking price

Remote and peaceful

It’s clearly been a few years since the promo pictures were taken the paint is bleeding into itself there are now only two functioning sun beds and the pool covering is weathered,torn and unsightly the house has aircon, 2 in the main lounge and one in the master bedroom only. There is only one remote so don’t lose it. Only the bedroom one can chill the room down a bit not to the proscribed temperature but that’s where one couple sleeps so that’s the main thing. all that is cosmetic and can be fixed with a bit of investment. The heated pool was lovely and when functioning was a bonus and joy to dunk into. Note. It has a leak somewhere and needs topping up virtually all the time. Marie and her husband are a great team to look after all your worries and queries and living locally can help virtually instantly. Will we go back hell yes we have already made enquiries for next year. Being this quiet private and remote is exactly what our mental health needs for a positive holiday experience. The airport is 20 mins away, shopping en route there for a weekly shop very large Lidl and mercadona and a small super dino 5km away in Antigua if need anything urgently.

Perfect getaway

We loved this property as it is in a lovely quiet village . We loved walking around the area . The pool was really warm & we made good use of it . The villa is well equipped & very comfortable .
