About Georgina Wickham

Penpol has been in the same family for nearly half a century. In recent years it has been lovingly revamped, and we take great pride in maintaining in presenting a property with personal touches. This is not a sterile property with the usual minimalist decorating. A fully stocked book shelf and "help yourself" larder cupboard help our guests to feel very much at home, and we enjoy a very high level of regular visitors. One has been returning to Penpol for 28 years! Our keen enjoyment of sailing is one of the reasons why we love our visits to Penpol, and our Cornish Shrimper is available for charter to other sailors who wish to explore this beautiful part of the English coast. We also love our dogs, and they enjoy our visits to Penpol as much as we do! The walking is fabulous.

What makes this cottage unique

Our daughter has been visiting Penpol every year since she was a baby, and the cottage has been the ideal place for her to enjoy the coastal life. With an enclosed garden and a rural setting, it can be the perfect playground, with rock pools, paddling and shrimping on the doorstep. Now a teenager, kayaking, sailing and waterskiing are the order of the day, and all are available at her fingertips. Penpol has such happy memories - the cottage is perfect for families of all ages, but equally perfect for a tranquil break for just the two of us, with a growing number of excellent restaurants within easy reach if we want to spoil ourselves.
