Spacious, clean and modern apartment fitted with high quality furniture and kitchen fittings. Overlooking the pool but just far enough away to miss the noise this apartment offers great views of the site and is placed on the lower level meaning there's no steep hills to climb to get to the front door. It has individual air conditioning units for each room, and being a ground floor apartment enjoys more shade and therefore a cooler climate. The apartment is situated in one of the best kept complexes in Yalikavak with night time security on the gate and is only 10 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the energetic town restaurants, shops and bars. A local bus stops at the gate to the complex and runs every 30 mins into the town centre offering a quick and convenient way to arrive for dinner!

We are a young working couple with a small family who understand how stressful it can be travelling with all your gear! That's why we left the cot in the apartment the first year we went for a family holiday!

Why Paul Lemon chose Yalıkavak

We bought this apartment in 2006 after many great holidays in Turkey. Following the arrival of our 2 sons we have been using it for our main family holiday location for the last 4 years and we love it. The site is probably the best managed site in the town and it shows. It's well looked after, the pool is properly cleaned and maintained and there's security staff at night checking who's coming and going. The town has a great selection of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops and caters for all budgets and tastes. We also enjoy quieter evenings on the patio BBQ-ing local meat/fish and the wide selection of veg which can be found in the town or at the wonderful market on a Thurs.

What makes this apartment unique

It's got a great pool for some fun and catching the sun during the day and at night you have the choice of staying at the apartment and winding down on the patio with a BBQ or heading into town to let your hair down or allow someone else to do the cooking for you!

Notes on accommodation: All the windows and doors have mosquito screens fitted allowing them to remain open when using the apartment helping to keep it cool and reduce the time spent in an air-conditioned environment if desired. These must of course be closed and locked when leaving the apartment for any length of time. Outside: The large patio at the front of the apartment is perfect for relaxing and outside dining after a long day in the sun. There is solid wood patio furniture which can remain outside during your stay plus a couple of giant bean bags for chilling with a book or a cold drink. The garden has been finished in a typical Turkish style and has been planted with many local flora. A BBQ is available on request. The entire site is very secure with a manned front gate at night, a fence circling the complex aids privacy with ample street lights. The complex is kept clean and the on-site gardener maintains the lush green of the various plants, fruit and vegetables growing around the site. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property will be cleaned before you arrive and all linen will be provided. There are also plenty of towels but you may want to bring your own beach/pool tools. We can arrange for a mid-holiday clean if desired and this is payable locally at the time. Other: Although this apartment is on the ground floor and on one of the lower levels of the site you need to climb some steps to approach the front door so it is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly.

Lovely Apartment

Description of apartment and complex was all very accurate.

We had a wonderful time and found Alexander Hills to be a very friendly complex.

The apartment was just what we wanted it was very convenient to have it really well equipped, lots of cups, plates and glasses etc the washing machine microwave and dishwasher were an added bonus It was also all very clean it is one of the best self catering we have stayed in.

Lovely walk into town 20 mins at my pace. Dolmus bus is once an hour very convenient. Hoping to return next year

Lovely apt complex

We stayed for a week with another family who had the apt upstairs, very pretty complex with very large pool with plenty of sunbeds. The accommodation was perfect, everything we needed. Paul the owner was very helpful and gave us lots of info before we arrived, helped us find the apt upstairs for our friends. Yalikavak is very pretty, lots of lovely restaurants and bars, must do boat trip, we are still talking about the bored (cheese rolls) that mother made! About 10/15 min walk into the centre, but lots of taxis around at the end of the evening.

Lovely family holiday

My husband and I and our two girls (aged 6 and 2) stayed here in May 2013 for a week. We had a great time. The apartment was clean, tidy and well maintained with everything you need. We were very comfortable. The facilities were perfect for us. The pool was not too busy with a poolside bar serving snacks, drinks and ice creams. The other people at the complex, who were mostly owners and their families, were very friendly and our girls made friends straight away. There is also a small playground, mini golf and garden area which they liked to play in.

The town of Yalikavak is about a 15 - 20 minute walk away down a dusty track. We didn't mind this at all, it's part of the charm of Turkey walking to go to a restaurant and seeing a cow being milked! It was quite dark at night but the fireflies lit the way and the smell of the olive and lemon groves filled the air.

Yalikavak has everything you need, nice restaurants, a few bars and shops and one of the poshest supermarkets we have ever seen. There are plenty of small shops selling bread, milk etc. We found the smaller, more authentic restaurants served better food and much cheaper but we didn't have any bad meals. We took a couple of trips to Turgutreis and Bodrum by Dolmus from the bus station. Mostly we stayed by the pool, the weather was fantastic and as long as the kids were happy so were we!

The owner of the apartment was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this holiday.

There is a blue flag beach in the village less than 1km away and many other beaches are reachable by local bus (Dolmus) or car approx 20 mins drive.


The nearest airport is Bodrum (Milas Mugla) and we can supply either transfer or car hire details. The transfer time is approx 35mins.


The local town is only a 5-10mins walk and offers a great selection of restaurants and cafes to suit all budgets. There are also a number of local and ex-pat bars where you can catch up on the news at home or grab the match with a pint of the local beer or an equally infamous Turkish coffee! A 5 mins taxi or bus ride will take you to one of the larger supermarkets in the town such as Kipa (Tesco's) or Migros. Bodrum is the closest city and is a short 20mins bus or car journey.
