Lovely relaxing break.

  • 5 of 5

I enjoyed a wonderful week at the gite . It is prepared to a very high standard and has everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Owners Kim and Deb are great and available for advice on the local area if needed.

The site description is entirely accurate .Le Fouette is charming and is five minutes away. Lots of great places to visit within less than an hour.

I would certainly go again and have no hesitation in recommending Ty Chouette .

A beautifully maintained and well appointed gite

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a truly wonderful week at this beautifully maintained, clean, characterful and well appointed gite in Priziac. We loved the traditional french decor, mixed with modern touches. The owners were extremely helpful, and ready to assist with any queries we had. We spent time relaxing in the sun loungers, listening to the birdsong, reading and enjoying this little oasis of calm and rural tranquility! The gite is well placed for visits to the coast (Benodet was a particular favourite), and we enjoyed lazy lunches in seaview restaurants (wonderful seafood salads in this area!). We also spent time walking and photographing the Cote Sauvage, and paddling in the sea during sunny, balmy June days. We enjoyed a really interesting tour of the castle at Josselin on our one rainy day. I think it's safe to say we are totally smitten - we will be back!! Thanks so much Kim and Deb for a week to remember.

"Ty Chouette"

  • 5 of 5

The gite really was a beautifully renovated stone gite of character. Well presented with lots of lovely touches and in a great surrounding. The property was well equipped with everything needed for your stay and a welcome basket, unexpected but such a lovely gesture from Kim & Deb who are wonderful and very helpful hosts. The fenced garden was perfect for Tapas our dog and the rest of the fields and garden areas spacious to walk around.

It's proximity to Le Faouet, where you could obtain all shopping needed and also restaurants, information centre etc., was ideal. A good area as a base and to enjoy Brittany.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the gite to friends and as for Kim & Deb, they are two really lovely people who we would love to visit again and thanks for all the help and information they gave. They really made our stay even better and the fuss they made of Tapas was really appreciated.

Rural retreat for busy hectic lifestyles

  • 5 of 5

Hello All,

We stayed in this gite for ten nights in September. It's in an ideal location especially if you like to fish or enjoy the countryside. We chose this gite as we have two dogs and needed somewhere dog-friendly and quiet. Le Faouet, the local village is 5-10min drive and its supermarket has everything you might need. Within half an hours drive in all direction you can enjoy the bigger towns and beaches. The gite itself is actually bigger than it looks in the photo and the private garden was an added bonus! It was in immaculate condition and very well thought out for its recipients. Its owners Kim & Deb were very helpful and friendly but were mindful of your privacy too. They arranged the appointment with an english speaking vet on return for the pet passport stamp which was brilliant. The gite was everything we wanted and more and we would love to return at some point. We would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a break from it all or just to enjoy the delights of the french culture.

John & Helen.

Owner's Response: We like to help our guests who have dogs in anyway we can and it is no trouble to arrange an appointment at our local vets for the dogs' pet passports to be updated ready for the return trip. We ensure there is an English speaking vet available on the day of the appointment but will assist if this is not the case and our clients have difficulty with the language.

We recently returned from a week's stay in this delightful Gite, along with our dog. Clean, comfortable and with everything we could have needed, the pretty Ty Chouette was in no way disappointing. Lovely surroundings, peaceful, and with all local amenities easily accessible. Plus the bonus of welcoming and helpful hosts, Kim and Debs. We have no hesitation in recommending this super Gite.

Beautiful gite and lovely people

  • 5 of 5

The house is beautiful with a lovely garden complete with sun loungers and a BBQ. Decor is relaxing and the place was spotless. It's a real home from home and Kim and Debs could not do enough for us. We even borrowed some DVDs! It's in a beautiful location, rural but with le faouet a 3-4 minute drive away for anything you might need. The lake at Priziac was also a good local spot for a swim if you didn't want to drive to the coast.
