We love Los Alcazares because of the year round sunshine. There are some beautiful beaches and the square boasts a great range of bars and restaurants and being a keen golfer, the Roda golf course is ideally situated just down the road from the house. The area is easily accessible with Murcia (San Javier) airport just a few minutes drive away

What makes this house unique

The property is just a 10 minute walk from the fabulous beach and the main square with lots of great bars and restaurants (there is also a great Tapas bar just round the corner from the house). For those who enjoy a more active holiday, you can take advantage of discounted rates at the nearby Roda golf course (one of several courses nearby) or hire bikes locally. To explore the surrounding area, there is a great local bus service or car hire available locally.

Outside: Outside facilities include; a patio area with table and chairs, a large shared swimming pool available to guests & a small children's play area opposite the front of the house. Utility Room: The utility area contains a washing machine, clothes line & outdoor sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cleaned before arrival and has all linen and towels provided (except beach towels). A mid week clean can be arranged at extra cost (which should be paid locally).

A lovely home in a fantastic location

We wanted a base for a golfing weekend for four guys. The communication leading up to our visit was excellent. We were met on arrival as promised and the house exactly met its description. The Golf course is just half a mile away and is a good challenging course with great facilities. A great 'strip' with an abundance of family friendly bars and restaurants is a short stroll away and the beautiful mar menor is also within easy walking distance. All in all an ideal home and location for a great break. We will definitely be booking again plus I will also be using it for a family holiday. Many thanks

A very spacious house that's brilliant for all the family

A very spacious house thats brilliant for a family holiday, we stayed here with my mum , dad, sister, husband and two small children and it was lovely. The house has everything you need for a beech holiday including bucket and spades, buggie and beech mat ect and its so easy to get to only 10 minutes from the airport where Marie was waiting for us to let us in and show us around and how to use the air conditioning.

The beech is a 20 minutes walk away and is very shallow for a long way out so safe for children with not a lot of sea weed and sand for building sand castles!

The pool is a good size so you can swim properly but also has a children's area too.

All in all a very nice house thats good value for money and the photos don't do it justice.

Spacious house with good amenities.

We had a lovely stay and really liked the house. It was great to have three bathrooms and be so near to a park. However, it was very disappointing that we couldn't use the pool (it was empty and there seemed to be some maintenance taking place).

Fantastic accommodation with a great location.

Six of our family stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location for shops, bars and beach being close by. The shared pool was also great and hardly used by other residents. The villa itself was brilliant. Very clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to others without hesitation. Big thanks to Kevin for allowing us the use of his wonderful home and Maria for her help when we arrived.

The villa was exactly as described on the website.

We have a wonderful holiday.The villa was very clean and had everything you needed.The pool was a god send as it was extremely hot

It was very close to Lidl for essentials.It was a 10 to 15 mins walk from a great selection of restaurants I would recommend El Patio especially if you like steak.Also Venny,s was a favourite of ours.We hired a car and went to San Pedro for breakfast and also our sons and grandsons went snorkeling and canoeing.

Maria was on hand if we needed anything.

Only down side was we didnt stay for two weeks but maybe next time.

We would recommend the villa to our friends and family.

Special interest holidays:

The surrounding area is fairly flat and ideal for cycling. There are a number of places where bikes can be hired locally. At the beach, there is a wide range of water-sports such as windsurfing, pedaloes, and boat sailing available.


The nearest beach is Los Narajos which is 1.2km away (10 min walk). The beach is on the Mar Menor (smaller sea) which is non tidal and very safe for children. The beach is fine white sand and is very clean.


The nearest airport is Murcia / San Javier which is just 5km away (close enough to use a taxi - far enough away to not be a noise problem). There are cheap flights from the UK with both Easyjet and Ryanair among others. Car hire is recommended if you intend to explore the surrounding areas.


The city of Cartagena is a 20 minute drive away. Here you will find a Roman Amphitheatre, castle, museums and historic sight seeing. There are also a variety of shops, or you can enjoy an open top bus which will take you on a tour of the city and a boat which will take you out and around the port area. For those not wishing to drive, you can catch a local bus outside the supermarket.

Further Details:

There are a number of local supermarkets, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is also a cashpoint (Barclays) just round the corner.

There are numerous restaurants ranging from Spanish, English, Chinese, Indian and Italian within a short walk. Full details of recommended restaurants are contained in our welcome pack.

We require a deposit of £100 at the time of booking, the balance of the rental is due one month prior to arrival. Last minute bookings are payable prior to departure date. Changeover Day:
Preferred changeover day is Saturday, however this can be flexible depending on other guests. Departure should be by 11am on the date of departure, although this can be flexible depending on arrival time of next guests. Arrival time at the property should be after 2pm.
