Fantastic accommodation with a great location.

Six of our family stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location for shops, bars and beach being close by. The shared pool was also great and hardly used by other residents. The villa itself was brilliant. Very clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to others without hesitation. Big thanks to Kevin for allowing us the use of his wonderful home and Maria for her help when we arrived.

The villa was exactly as described on the website.

We have a wonderful holiday.The villa was very clean and had everything you needed.The pool was a god send as it was extremely hot

It was very close to Lidl for essentials.It was a 10 to 15 mins walk from a great selection of restaurants I would recommend El Patio especially if you like steak.Also Venny,s was a favourite of ours.We hired a car and went to San Pedro for breakfast and also our sons and grandsons went snorkeling and canoeing.

Maria was on hand if we needed anything.

Only down side was we didnt stay for two weeks but maybe next time.

We would recommend the villa to our friends and family.

Great location to kick back and relax...

This property is ideally located, just a short drive away from the airport, you'll be unpacked and on the beach in no time. Clean, well appointed and maintained the property offers all the mod cons you might expect; including the opportunity to get your washing done before heading home! There's a large beautifully clean pool on the complex which is ideal to cool off in after a walk back from town.

The property is far enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful yet near enough to walk to if you don't want to hire a car. Shops, bars and restaurants are accessible by foot and the beach is only a few minutes walk further. The plaza has a good variety of restaurants for all tastes and pockets, of particular note is a place called Hemming Ways where I could happily have eaten all week... such was the quality of the food which was reasonably priced too. All in all, I had a great time and came home completely rested.

Wonderful holiday home

We enjoyed a wonderful weeks holiday in this superb property, which was beautifully clean and well maintained, with everything you need, just like home! The assistance from the owner was perfect in every way, from being met at the property with the keys, to assisting us in booking all our golf, and clubs for a fantastic time at the nearby Golf Club. The local restaurants, supermarkets and the beach, were all within a 15 minute walk, and were absolutely fantastic. I certainly would recomend it to everyone.

What a great time we had

Got to the house to a warm greeting from Maria, who showed us round and told us about the local area. 7 of us in all, 3 children and 4 adults. Plenty of room for all of us, the living room, dining area and kitchen are excellent. The pool, just 30 yards away, is fantastic - our 8 year old granddaughter learnt to swim in the week we were here. The Plaza nearby (walk past Consum and Lidl, over the next roundabout and it's on your left hand side) has everything for all, and walk through this to get to the beach.

We would highly recommend the water park at Torrivieja (Aquapolis), about 30 minutes drive - you really can spend all day there (from 10:30 to about 7:0 p.m.) - it's about £20 per adult and £15 per child, but then a second day is about £7 per person; however if you do go, take a picnic - it's worth going to the Chinese shop round the corner from the house and getting a cool box, as 7 drinks and 7 bags of crisps at the water park work out at about £27.

A fantastic, clean, spacious and comfortable house, with a great pool, close by to everything - ideal for couples, families, or friends. What more could you ask for?

Ideal property

Very clean well maintained villa. My husband and his friend went with four teenage boys for a sailing competition and the villa was ideal with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There was a washing machine and area at the rear of the property to dry all their gear ideal.

Everything was there that you would need and the air condition was a must!

Lots of bars and restraunts with easy walking distance and a great market on the way home at night for sunglasses and bags, also 2 good supermarkets just across the road for fresh bread and rolls in the morning.

There was a slight issue with one of the showers but it was fixed the next day after sending an email, very prompt.

Swimming pool was not far, very clean and not busy.

We love Los Alcazares because of the year round sunshine. There are some beautiful beaches and the square boasts a great range of bars and restaurants and being a keen golfer, the Roda golf course is ideally situated just down the road from the house. The area is easily accessible with Murcia (San Javier) airport just a few minutes drive away

Special interest holidays:

The surrounding area is fairly flat and ideal for cycling. There are a number of places where bikes can be hired locally. At the beach, there is a wide range of water-sports such as windsurfing, pedaloes, and boat sailing available.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach is Los Narajos which is 1.2km away (10 min walk). The beach is on the Mar Menor (smaller sea) which is non tidal and very safe for children. The beach is fine white sand and is very clean.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Murcia / San Javier which is just 5km away (close enough to use a taxi - far enough away to not be a noise problem). There are cheap flights from the UK with both Easyjet and Ryanair among others. Car hire is recommended if you intend to explore the surrounding areas.

Distances:

The city of Cartagena is a 20 minute drive away. Here you will find a Roman Amphitheatre, castle, museums and historic sight seeing. There are also a variety of shops, or you can enjoy an open top bus which will take you on a tour of the city and a boat which will take you out and around the port area. For those not wishing to drive, you can catch a local bus outside the supermarket.

Further Details:

There are a number of local supermarkets, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is also a cashpoint (Barclays) just round the corner.

There are numerous restaurants ranging from Spanish, English, Chinese, Indian and Italian within a short walk. Full details of recommended restaurants are contained in our welcome pack.

Changeover Day:
