The apartment is furnished to an extremely high standard. Bellaluz with its central plaza with restaurants, boutiques, pharmacy and bars is a few minutes walk away, as is the tennis centre. La Cala beach is 5 minutes drive away and slightly further afield are the beaches of Playa Calblanque. The resort boasts 3 18-hole championship golf courses.

About the Owner

We are married with two children, two dogs and a cat! We have owned Los Olivos 16C for 18 months now having owned (and still owning) Los Olivos 3P for over 6 years and have turned both into modern apartments, putting in a new kitchen and completely revamping the living/dining areas in 16C and putting in two new bathrooms in 2015 and in 3P putting in a new kitchen, dining chairs,bedding, curtains and a new ensuite bathroom in Jan 14 i. Our house in Monte Claro down the road from Los Olivos -on four stories with 5 bedrooms and 3 sun decks -gives lots of outdoor space.It has marble floors throughout - super luxurious.The pool in MC is for the 16residents and you can watch the children from the terrace! We holiday here twice a year and extended family stay in both apartments .We love the food, facilities,space and tranquility.

Fabulous Apartment

We have just returned from a family holiday in this amazing apartment.

Jane was very attentive and answered all queries prior to booking.

Everything looked brand new, from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the furniture and all the accessories within the entire apartment.

It really was a home from home.

Lovely pool area and close to the tennis centre, bars and restaurants to able to walk to almost everything.

The balcony was very large with an 8 seater table, Gas BBQ and 6 sun loungers.

Although the apartment had air conditioning, we found that it was cool most of the time anyway, and only needed to use it the odd evening to cool the bedrooms down a little.

We would definitely recommend this apartment, and we would definitely return to it should we decide to visit La Manga next year.

Simply stunning....

We have stayed in a number of apartments within Los Olivos but this apartment was by far the best yet. Very spacious with lovely views over the tennis courts and out towards the Mar Menor. Apartment has been upgraded with new bathrooms which are lovely and a new kitchen which opens up the whole living area. 3 large bedrooms all with air conditioning meant we all had comfortable nights sleep! Would highly recommend this apartment.

Everything is so relaxing.No distance to restaurants, supermarkets, tennis club, bars, crazy golf, pitch and putt.....It is a secure resort so we feel super safe here.The sun always shines , the resort is stunning-beautiful planting everywhere and all the resort folk speak English.Its a home from home with no rain!

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Murcia San Javier at 40 Kilometres Nearest Beach : La Cala ,La Manga Club at 3 Kilometres Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

This resort offers many leisure options including golf at its 3 18-hole championship courses, tennis including coaching at the tennis academy, squash, pitch and putt, crazy golf, mountain biking, jogging and walking routes and a health spa with a huge number of facilities and treatments on offer

Coast/Beach:

La Manga has its own private beach La Cala, which is a 5 minute drive from the apartment. It is breathtakingly beautiful. Alternatively the Mediterranean and Mar Menor Sea are perfect for all watersports (sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and more ). These are all a 15 minute or so drive away. There are black sand and white sand beaches nearby. We recommend Playa Calblanque-10 mins drive away.

Travel:

Approx 20 mins away is the nearest airport Murcia (San Javier). Alicante is approx 1 hour by car.

Distances:

La Manga has all the facilities and amenities that you need for a perfect holiday. However if you are here for a longer stay or simply like exploring there are places of interest to visit. Los Belones is 8 mins away in the car with its restaurants. Other places of interest are nearby Cartegena, which is 20 kms away, with its 2200 years of history, ruins and Roman temple-also has a shopping mall. Murcia, the regional capital with its cathedral, bars and shopping is 45 mins away.

Further Details:

Two super supermarkets are within a few minutes walk of the apartment. Nearby restaurants include La Bodega-a typical Spanish bodega with local wines and excellent Tapas; Uncle Sams- all American style; Si restaurant and bar offers all night children’s entertainment whilst you eat-bouncy castle/football/juggling etc. Andale- Mexican; Asia-Asian cuisine ; La Cala is nestled on a rocky outcrop over the private beach and has the finest fish and seafood. Luigis is the finest Italian with speciality fish, pasta and pizzas.

All are family friendly and most a short stroll away.

There are cafes nearby and many shops. The nearby Bellaluz square has pubs , boutiques, pharmacy, bars and central plaza.

Once a booking is confirmed we require a 50% deposit. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to departure. Keys can be collected from our Management Company -Resort Management -who can arrange secure key access should your arrival be out of hours (they supply the code for the mail box). Credit card details will be taken by Resort Management in case of damage to our apartment.

Prefer Saturdays but are flexible especially out of school holidays.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment has air-conditioning and heating so is suitable for all year round visits. It is spacious, modern, with new kitchen /dining chairs/dining table/sofas all provided end 2012 making for a luxurious feel. Wi-fi included and i-pod docking station and wii. Outside: Guests have a private sun terrace (20'x18')with 4 luxurious sunloungers and a modern large table with 8 chairs and food preparation area with amazing views of the ocean at Mar Menor for great outside dining. The apartment has a small grassed area outside where you can sunbath and relax. Los Olivos has two large outdoor pools and one indoor 25m heated pool with jacuzzi. Utility Room: Drying racks, iron, ironing board, mop, brooms etc Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and pool towels are provided as is all bed linen . Property is cleaned on departure if staying one week. If your booking is longer than 10 days a mid-stay clean is included in the price.
