Watersedge is our holiday home so you will be pleased to find it well equipped with all the comforts of home. The apartment is graded 4 star by the English tourist board and is inspected by them annually. It is a spacious front line apartment overlooking Hartlepool Marina. close to the sea front and town centre. From the apartment you can enjoy exploring the museum, marina and enjoy the sights and sounds of the historic quay where the Trincamarie sailing ship is anchored. Along the Quay you will find quality restaurants offering an array of world foods,which attract many visitors to the area. The apartment is well placed for touring the North York moors, Durham and the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough. 1 mile away is the seaside town of Seaton Carew which has wide sandy beaches and is a lovely walk from the Marina along the promenade. Set on the quiet side of the marina -5 mins walk to restaurants and bars, town centre and railway station are just a short walk away.

Overall good impression of property,and we enjoyed or stay. The middle floor apartment was clean and well equipped,the caretaker greeted us and advised us of heating and hot water settings and was happy to answer any of our questions. It was secure and we all felt safe. Found it useful to have two sets of keys, and the reserved parking space was great. We visited all the local tourist attractions and nearby locations and travelled to Whitby by train for the day.We also visited Durham during another day out.

Perfect seaside getaway

Watersedge provided a perfect home-base for a mother-daughter adventure. The kitchen had everything we needed (we even made scones)! The flat was clean and ready for us when we arrived, even accommodating our 8pm arrival. I would recommend a few more towels (there were two each: bath, hand, wash); fine for two, but awkward if there were more of us. Parking was great; flat was quiet; marina was beautiful. Couldn't ask for a better place. Thank you!!

Lovely appartment good location

Had a lovely few days at this apartment with daughter and grandchildren. Very comfortable and clean. Great day out to maritime museum which was in walking distance also vie cinema in walking distance along with Asda and morrisons. Also had a great day at beamish living museum

what a view

We stayed in a hotel on our first visit to Hartlepool last year so we decided to stay in an apartment for our February 2014 stay, the difference between the two was tremendous. The level of freedom and relaxation produced by the WATERSEDGE made it good value compared to our hotel stay. The size of the rooms were bigger than expected and the level of comfort was wonderful, the changing view of the marina and St Hilda's church on the Headland was a relaxing pleasure also. The location, easy walk to supermarkets, superstores, town centre and Church St for Restaurants, fast food, pubs and night clubs. We would strongly recommend this property.

PLEASANT WEEKEND

MY WIFE, TEENAGE SON AND ME WERE VISITING NORTH EAST ENGLAND, PRIMARILY TO SEE SUNDERLAND PLAY LIVERPOOL BUT WERE LOOKING FOR A PROPERTY THAT WAS CONVENIENT FOR VISITING MORE OF NE ENGLAND. WE ACCESSED WHITBY WITHIN 1 HOUR AND NECASTLE WITHIN 40 MINUTES.

THE HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN AND BRIGHT.HEATING AND LIGHTING ARE VERY GOOD. IT WAS WELL STOCKED WITH UTENSILS, CROCKERY, BEDDING, TOWELS. FREE WI-FI IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED.

THE HOUSE IS LOCATED NEAR THE HARBOUR WITH PLEASANT VIEWS OVER THE BOATS MOORED THERE. THE AREA WAS QUIET AND WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH OUTSIDE NOISE. PARKING WAS EASY AND HASSLE FREE. WE WALKED ABOUT 250 YARDS TO FIND AN EXCELLENT RESTAURANT - KRIMO'S - THE FIRST NIGHT AND FOUND SEVERAL OTHER EATERIES WITHIN ABOUT 10 MINUTES WALK.

ONLY PROBLEM I COULD SEE WAS THAT IF YOU WERE DISABLED OR STRUGGLED TO WALK UP STAIRS YOU COULD NOT ACESS THE PROPERTY.

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AND I WOULD BE HAPPY TO USE THIS APARTMENT AGAIN IF I WAS VISITING THIS PART OF ENGLAND. OVERALL GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. FAR CHEAPER THAN TWO ROOMS AT THE NEARBY HOTELS.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO COUPLES OR FAMILIES LOOKING FOR A BASE FROM WHICH TO EXPLORE NE ENGLAND.

We bought our apartment in this area because it is in such a good position.Being right on the quayside. we can watch all the boats coming and going from the marina from the comfort of our lounge. Its also in an excerlent position for touring the countryside on 3 sides---North,all the way up through the Northumbrian coast or South to the lovely seaside towns of whitby (about 30mins) Scarborough Filey and Bridlington. To the west are the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. Lots to see and do locally and good beaches at Seaton Carew 1 mile away

We both love the northeast and whilst on holiday in 2001 spotted this lovely apartment for sale. We fell in love with it and purchased it. Since buying the apartment we have spent a lot of time and money updating it to a high standard. At the time we both still worked so we used our holidays to do the work and get to know the surrounding areas. We added an ensuite to the family room which makes it great to share with another couple.
