Apartment in Palma, South West Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Quiet Location But Very Close To Shops, Restaurants And Cafes. Cathedral About 10 Mins Walk

The apartment is in a purpose-built block with a lift though it's only on the second floor. There is a large living area, three double bedrooms two with double beds and one with 2 singles. There are 2 bathrooms, quite large. Air conditioning and double glazing, fully equipped kitchen. All furniture is new.... and comfortable shops are in walking distance and also bars and restaurants.... plaza Espana is 200 metres away with trains, buses and taxis.

About the Owner

We are a married couple living near London. We use the apartment ourselves for short breaks - the air fares are quite cheap if booked well in advance. We've re-furbished it and fully furnished so that it is a home from home for us. We have the place cleaned and the beds and towels changed before each letting.

Great location, lots of space

We travelled with 2 young kids, perfect for families or groups up to 6 people, excellent layout and 2 full bathrooms

Everything was perfect from the info before arriving, to the greeting with the keys (they came to meet us at nearby square and helped with bags and helped with multiple communication with some delayed baggage)and arranging baby crib

When staying in Palma, can only recommend this apartment, its very central and on a quiet street, everything is within a easy walk (great restaurants within 5 minute walk)and the apartment has lots of space

New Years city break

.Brilliant apartment ,in the perfect spot in the centre of the old town but easy walking to sea front and Cathedral.Property spacious,warm and very nicely decorated,with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay.Spotlessly clean and had ample space for six adults.Easy access from airport by bus and very short walk from where bus drops you.Making it a very cheap transfer.Palma is also a great city,with lots to offer.

Great location, great apartment

Just returned from a five day stay in Palma for the New Year celebrations with a group of friends. Had a great holiday which was made all the better by staying at this lovely apartment which is an excellent location for all that Palma has to offer. We found the apartment to be exceptionally well appointed with everything you could wish for. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit Palma...we will certainly return for another visit.

City break

We spent 3 nights at this apartment prior to a 7 night villa holiday up in Pollensa. We caught the bus from the airport at a cost of 3 euros each and the apartment is ideally situated a few minutes walk from the bus stop. It is well equipped, clean and spacious and, although central, very quiet. From the apartment we were able to explore Palma shops and marina, and catch the tourist train up to Soller from the station 5 mins walk away. There are plenty of cafes to sit and enjoy a pastry and coffee for breakfast. An excellent apartment for a city break.

I wanted a property in the centre of the city - it is so much more interesting and convenient than elsewhere. The street is quiet, though unprepossessing, yet so close to everything.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Palma at 10 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : many at 100 Miles Nearest Ferry : Palma at 2 Kilometres Nearest Train : Plaza Espana at 250 Metres Nearest Motorway : Via Cintura at 3 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : many at 100 Metres Nearest Beach : Palma at 2 Kilometres Car: not necessary


15 minutes walk to Palma beach but easier to take a taxi or bus from Plaza Espana (100 metres away) For other beaches you really need to hire a car. There are many many beaches around Mallorca.


The airport is about 15 minutes away by bus or taxi. Car hire only necessary if you want to visit other parts of the island - strongly recommended. Loads of car parks quite near.


Within walking distance of Plaza Espana and the railway stations (trains to Soller and all parts in between including the Festival Park Factory Outlet Centre); walking distance of Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the major shopping streets, La Lonja and the famous Abajo cocktail bar. Hundreds of bars, restaurants and cafes close at hand to suit ll tastes and pockets.
