Sandpiper Cottage Beadnell. Sleeps 4. This newly refurbished attractive cottage is a 2 bedroomed, semi detached house in the coastal village of Beadnell. It has a quiet, enclosed garden which overlooks fields and has views to the Cheviot Hills. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and is only a 5 minute walk to the sandy, dog friendly beaches and nearby village shops. House trained dogs by arrangement. No Smoking. Reduction for couples out of main holiday period available. Private parking on drive. Sorry house isn’t suitable for divers. Changeover day is a Saturday. This may be negotiable in quiet periods. You may gain access to the property from 2 30pm on the day of arrival and leave by 10am on departure day.

Ideal location. Beautiful beaches 5 minutes walk. Cottage very comfortable and clean. Lovely flapjack and wine as a welcome. Not expected but very welcome.

Comfortable and clean, everything you need for the perfect break!

Brilliant location, close to dog-friendly beaches and dog-friendly pubs! Sandpiper is comfortable, with everything necessary for a hassle-free, self-catering break. We will definitely book again, hopefully sooner than later. The property is excellent value for money.

A lovely property in a beautiful part of the country and you can even see the sea from the bedroom window. Two beautiful horses over the garden wall to talk to whilst you have your morning coffee - perfect.

Lovely Family Holiday in Sunny Northumberland

We could not have asked for a better week. The weather was amazing, the sun shone all the time. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The village has two great pubs (we ate in Beadnell Towers - excellent), a café/bistro (was nice but a little pricey), a fish and chip shop (very good) and a shop which had all the essentials. We walked a lot of time as there are lots of places in the vicinity that you can get to on foot without moving the car. The walk from Beadnell to Seahouses along the beach was lovely and is about 1 1/2 miles. Beadnell Bay was gorgeous. We would certainly recommend Sandpiper and will hopefully return in the not too distant future. The Spencers & Paddy the dog (who adored the beach).

Great little home from home!

On arriving we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a cake with a little note on postcard- these kind of little extras are lovely to arrive to. The house was a really clean and smart standard and decorated nicely, modern. Its quite small but we have a baby (travel cot fitted in the main bedroom) and a 4yr old and it was fine, nice little garden too.

Unfortunately we had poor weather most of the week so beach days were less than we had hoped but beadnell bay is beautiful and the area as a whole is well worth exploring. Beadnell has a small shop, well stocked but pricy and a chippy- was ok but we preferred seahouses one (yes thats twice in one week, dont judge!).

We had a problem with leaking shower but yvonnes sister came round immediately (sunday) and it was sorted next day.

Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful area and well kept house.

Our stay this year was great, it was the first time away we have had as a family. The house was imaculate, the garden well kept and everything we needed was available. The views from the house and the village itself are beautiful and with two dog friendly pubs a short walk away.Thanks Yvonne and Darren for having us and hopefully we will be back.

Places of interest are Alnwick Castle of Harry Potter fame, Bamburgh with its Castle, beaches and the heroine Grace Darling.
