Lovely house, great location!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our first trip to Northumbria and had a lovely, comfortable week at Sandpiper during the Easter holidays. The house is cosy, nicely decorated & immaculately clean and very well equipped and the garden was great for our dog. The house is perfecty located to enjoy the stunning Northumberland coast. Beadnell harbour and bay with its miles of golden sand is a short walk away and we enjoyed a fantastic meal at The Craster Arms in the village. There is also a well stocked shop at the bottom of the road selling local produce amongst other things. Lots of wonderful places to visit within easy reach... the weather wasn’t great during our stay; plenty of rain and it was very cold so we hope to return again with the hope of seeing the sun next time!!! The only thing that I think might be a useful addition in the house is a folding clothes airer as we struggled to dry wet walking gear on the rainy days and were unable to use the washing machine as had no-where to dry the clothes. Otherwise a perfect stay... Lovely surprise to find a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival and homemade flapjacks to have with a cuppa after our long journey... thank you :) we will be back and would recommend to others.

Lovely comfortable property with everything you need.

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay in your lovely house.

So close to the beach and convenient for visiting

The Holy Island, castles, gardens and pretty towns and villages in the surrounding area.

We enjoyed the bottle of wine and biscuits that were

waiting for us when we arrived. You have a very comfortable house to which it was a pleasure to come home to in the evening. Definitely would like to stay again if coming back “up north” and would recommend to my friends. Thanks Ivonne.

Comfortable cottage

  • 5 of 5

Lovely well equipped cottage with welcoming wine and biscuits - thank you! We have stayed in many properties around the area but definitely will be returning again! You’ve thought of just about everything we would need (perhaps a drying rail/clothes line for washing/drying clothes?) and we were very cosy and happy. Shame the weather was not the best, but our dog still loved the beaches and the garden - even in pouring rain and freezing temperatures! See you next summer, if not before!

short break at Beadnell

  • 5 of 5

We so enjoyed our 3 night stay in this clean bright and well equipped cottage and the décor and dressing of the cottage was thoughtfully done in a seaside theme. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dog. The location was ideal for superb walks along the beach and harbour area. Beadnell is well located with short drives north or south along the coast to other lovely little fishing villages. The courtesy wine and chocolate biscuits were most appreciated. Looking forward to returning.

The property was perfect for our weekend away with our.

  • 5 of 5

The patio doors looking out on to the enclosed garden meant our dog had the full reign inside and outside and we could watch her. The property was immaculately clean and well presented.
