Bungalow in Perranporth, Cornwall, England
Cradock Bungalow at Perranporth is up a little road, just behind Lloyds Bank at the very bottom of Liskey Hill, near the Park. It is almost in the centre of this nice village with its shops, pubs and restaurants, yet it is secluded with a garden and parking. It is only a stones throw from the magnificent sandy beach with its cliffs, caves, pools rolling dunes and the sea with its great breakers - excellent for surf riding. Perranporth has tennis courts, boatinglake and a golf course and there is a gliding club nearby. There any many pleasant walks around Perranporth, in particular those up the combes (valleys) and along the cliffs where one can walk for miles. Newquay with its many attractions, including an excellent zoo, is only 20 minutes drive away. The bungalow is ideal for 6-8 but you can squeeze in some extras and is pet friendly. There is only one bathroom.

Damp and Smelly
Its in Perranporth,in a lovely quiet position with a lovely sunny front garden.
Whole bungalow is smelly and damp,peeling wallpaper in all the rooms. Only used front bedroom, would not sleep my family there. Uncomfortable furniture in Lounge. Kitchen virtually unusable cant imagine how you could cook for a family in there, only used Microwave,toaster and Kettle. We were asked to defrost fridge if we did that it would have flooded the kitchen not been defrosted for months. I know the adage you get what you pay for, but you expect it to be comfortable at least. It cost us £15 In electricity to keep it warm.
Dark and Damp
This is such a shame, the bungalow has great potential it is in a fantastic location has a lovely enclosed garden which is perfect for BBQ's and relaxing in the sun. Unfortunately then you go inside. The rooms are dark dated, whilst it may of been cleaned before we arrived because everything is so old and shabby it we cleaned it all again to be sure.
Outdated, musty, rusty, tired, list is endless
Couldn't stay here, after one night found somewhere else to stay! wouldn't recommend anyone else to stay here. Owner refused to give refund. 1920's building with nothing updated since and it shows! Feel for people that have already booked!
We stayed at Cradock towards the end of summer and we were very happy with the overall package. The bungalow is only minutes away from Perranporth beach (one of the most pleasant beaches we’ve visited in the UK) and close enough to the village that we rarely had to get in the car. We took our spaniel with us and found that it suited our requirements well as there was a large enclosed garden in which he could run around and a gate at the end of the drive which meant that we could relax in the sun lounge knowing that he could roam the garden freely. The furnishings were a little dated and there were a couple of small patches of mould (which wiped off easily with a cloth), although this wasn’t something which we found a problem as the price was more than reasonable. It had a definite sense of character and was very spacious. All in all it is a fantastic location and we look forward to coming back next summer.
As soon as we entered the house there was an overpowering smell of mould and damp covered every corner of every wall.The bedding was dirty and the facilities were appalling.We couldn't feel comfortable on any piece of furniture and therefore remained standing.Once the rest of the family arrived we decided that we couldn't spend a night there,spending the night at a nearby hotel.The final straw came on the next day where we found mice droppings beneath one of the sofas.Fortunately we found other accommodation nearby which was much better.I would never recommend this property.Stay Away!
Ideal location and good size property , in bad need of refurbish curtains falling down , wallpaper pealing off walls and in need of a good clean , didn't take our shoes off all holiday !
