Apartment in Benalmadena Pueblo, Costa Del Sol, Spain - Location , Location , Location ! . Right In Benalmadena Pueblo Close To All Local Amenities .

Situated on the ground floor access is gained from the main road that runs from Benalmadena Costa up to Mijas the apartment is right in the center of the village. There are just a few steps into the doorway. Once entered the apartment is in a quiet setting with a south facing balcony. From the roof terrace there are views over the village to Torrequebrada golf course, to the Andalucian Sierras, Sierra Nevada and to the African coast. The property is newly refurbished and although centrally located the complex is in a quiet peaceful location. Shops, bars and restaurants are all close. The bus stop for the busy shopping area of Arroya de la Miel and on to the beach is right outside the door. Private underground parking is provided and the main road the the airport is minutes away.

Sharon and I have been proffessional entertainers for over 20 years . As 'Dash' we have traveled extensively working in venues all round the UK . We have worked on Cruise Liners in the Carribean and Mediterranean for RCCL and Airtours. We now have a 16 year old daughter and live in Durham in the North East of England and are both now music teachers as well as entertainers.

We are hoping to have more time in the future to enjoy our new holiday home and hope you enjoy our apartment in this lovely setting !.

What makes this apartment unique

You will not be disappointed with this spacious apartment and its central location . We wanted a sea or pool view and this has both !. It is right off the main street but once in the apartment in a lovely peaceful setting.

Brilliant location in beautiful village . Loved having coffee on balcony overlooking the pool and looking out to sea then popping out to shops that are all close by. Easy access down to coast and bus links to all Costa del Sol right outside Portal door.

Can't recommend enough owner even provided a door to door airport pickup at very reasonable price.

Notes on accommodation: The Livingroom can be converted into a totally private second bedroom with blinds and wardrobe. It has access to the bathroom and kitchen without disturbing occupants of the main bedroom. The apartment can then sleep 2 couples, 2 single holiday makers or a small family. Outside: The balcony is south facing with views of the sea. It has a small table and 3 garden type seats to enjoy the all day sunshine. The pool area is accessed to the right of the apartment by a secure door and is private to the complex. The pool terrace has views over the village fiesta square over the Coats del Sol to the Mediterranean sea and is decorated with potted plants. Utility Room: Dishes, bowls, cups, mugs, cutlery and glasses for 4 people. All usual cooking utensils, pizza dish, mixing bowls spatulas and spoons. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen and towels are provided and are freshly laundered. Mattress covers are fitted. Continental quilts. Other: Entrance Hall with storage and cloakroom area.

great location

Great location up the hill from the coast in a beautiful village.

We took the buses (from right outside the apartment) everywhere.

The village has a wide selection of cafes and eateries and is very peaceful.

The apartment is clean and well appointed with a balcony overlooking the pool.

We were picked up from the airport and couldn't fault the service.

Would recommend for a couple who like a quieter break

My wife and I stayed in the apartment for a week and being frequent visitors to "the pueblo" the apartment can't be beaten for location. It is only a few steps to some lovely pubs and restaurants. The bus stop is directly outside the door with buses every 30 minutes down to the coast or in the opposite direction up to the beautiful village of Mijas. The pool was never busy with the only negative being it was very cold.

As you say it is situated very close to all local facilities and the excellent cheap and frequent bus service connects to all of the Costa del Sol. The pool like most of its size relies on sunlight to heat it. Usually by June it is a pleasant temperature but the weather this year has been unusually mild which has obviously affected the water temperature.

My wife and I have stayed at this apartment on 3 occasions including a long term stay and we have always found it to be very clean and comfortable. The south facing balcony is a bonus for enjoying coffee on those sunny mornings and the apartment is in a good position for easy access to the pool. The apartment is in close proximity for all of the amenities in the Pueblo i.e. supermarket/shops restaurants and pubs. The Buddist Temple, which is within 5 minutes walking distance is well worth a visit and if you like markets, even just for browsing, the Friday market in Arroyo has lots to keep you interested. We have no hesitation in recommending anyone contemplating staying at this apartment to give it a go.

Excellent apartment

Staying in this apartment was a joy. The position was perfect for walking into the town for meals which were excellent with a large choice of restaurants. Being on the ground floor we ere able to get to the pool easily, just outside the side door but the only downside is having to take all the keys to let you in to every door of the portal but I suppose that is what you have to put up with as the security is excellent.the apartment is well furnished with every kitchen appliance that you would want.the apartment is clean and a comfortable bed to rest your weary body. The pool is beautiful and was lovely to swim in especially as it is unheated but it is well maintained being cleaned every day.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is interested in walking as there are so many places to see and you don't need a car as there is a bus stop outside the apartment door.

The famous beaches of Fuengirola, Benammadena and Torremolinos are all a short drive/ bus journey away. You are ideally located for access to the golf courses of the Costa del Sol. There is a road directly down from the village to the coast that is about a 25 min walk. The famous village if Mijas is 10 mins drive / bus ride away as is Tivoli World with its cable car up the mountain.


Malaga Airport is 15 mins away by car . I can provide a 'meet and greet' from the airport to the apartment for 25 euros. Taxis will cost 30 Euros . There is a train service from the airport to Benalmadena and regular bus up the Pueblo costing less than 4 euro total.


The apartment is right in the center of the village . It is mins from shops, banks, post office, laundry, bars and restaurants. The main shopping area of Arroya de la miel is 10 mins away and the village of Mijas is a short bus ride away where you can explore the white village on a donkey taxi.

Further Details:

The village of Benalmadena Pueblo is a hidden gem on the Costa del Sol with its white washed houses, cobbled streets and pretty squares. The famous Buda temple is a short walk and there is a bull ring at the opposite side of the village. Below the complex is Fiesta Square where your may see one of the many festivals. From the square is a lift upto the Iglesia de Santa Domingo church from where there are breath taking views. Selwo Animal Park is 5 mins drive as are Water @ Amusement Parks.

Tivolli World is near by which is a great family day out with a cable car that takes you up the mountain where there is a walk back to Benalmadena Pueblo.
