MONTANA VILLAGE - Fantastic Location With Direct Ski In/Ski Out Access With Views Of The Slopes

A fantastic home from home apartment on this 3rd floor highly regarded apartment building (has lift). The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 but can accommodate a further 2 people sharing a sofa bed in the lounge area. The apartment is fully equipped including dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven with bath/shower and separate WC. Direct ski access to the slopes and balcony views of the main ski run out toward the Cascades. The apartment is ideally located close to Ecole ESF and Prosneige Ski Schools. The Property has open plan lounge with kitchen/diner, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with bath and overhead shower and separate w.c. There is a fabulous and highly recommended restaurant on the basement/ski level. The apartment is located within a serviced apartment building with communal lounge area with Pool table and gift shop on the Ground Floor. There is a parking very close to the apartment in the Valthoparc 2 payable secured carpark. Rates are reasonable but must be booked at least 7 days in advance - or so their website requests.

We bought this apartment a number of years ago as we loved Val Thorens so much, and still do! We also still use the apartment but due to the limited time we get to spend there each season, we rent out the weeks not used. We kept this solely for our own use until the past 2 seasons.

We had spent many years skiing in different resorts but found Val Thorens to have excellent skiing, lift and the resort was excellent.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is perfectly located for direct ski access and is centrally located in the lower section of the village. It also has wonderful central slop views.

Having stayed here for the first time via a friends recommendation, we found the apartment spotless and very cosy. The location and access to slopes is superb, skiing straight from the boot room that also has secure storage for our skis. Lift too which is handy after a hard days skiing! Nice to have a view over the mountains and main ski route and a short walk from some excellent restaurants. However do try the one within the apartment block its really very very good.

Brilliant location, lovely people, amazing skiing

Extremely happy with the accommodation, it could have not been in a better location, with brilliant bars and places to eat on your doorstep. Skiing to the door was also a big plus, Zoe and dan were very helpful with questions and advice, will be defiantly coming here again!

Superb Location

A lovely apartment in the most ideal location; directly out of the boot room onto the slopes and a good choice of shops and restaurants in the village. Zoe made the booking process very easy and her housekeepers Jools and Henry, and the Montana reception staff, were so helpful with their advice and recommendations so as to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Great skiing for all abilities, would definitely recommend!
