Cottage in Street, Nr. Glastonbury, Somerset, England - Beautiful Location, On The Outskirts Of Street Nr Glastonbury

Built in the late 1880s, this former coach house and has just been fully renovated into a luxury holiday cottage. Adjoining our property, it combines original features with modern convenience including en-suite to both bedrooms, fitted kitchen and Wi-Fi. Located on the outskirts of the village of Street nr Glastonbury it’s ideally located to explore Somerset and the South West region. Less than a mile from centre of Street and local pubs & restaurants, indoor & outdoor pools, Strode theatre, Clarks Outlet Village and Millfield School. Local attractions include Glastonbury, Wells, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Fleet Air Arm museum and a little further afield Stonehenge, Longleat, City of Bath and Weston Super Mare.

Excellent quality accommodation

We were prepared for a good quality cottage by the details sent to us but were still blown away by the completeness of the equipment and the extremely high quality of the decoration and furnishings. Far and away the best self catering we have stayed in. The location was also very handy for the Polden Hills and Avalon Marshes so great for a nature break. Hope to get back there soon!

Spacious, comfy & great location

Leigh Nook cottage is a gorgeous and comfortable property with superb facilities/soft furnishings. Perfect for cosy evenings in after long walking days. Exactly what you want for a holiday stay: clean, well maintained, warm, cosy and private. It is great that the second bedroom can be set up as a double. Another perk is the 3 bathrooms/ensuites.

Great location for Glastonbury, wookey hole, ebbor gorge etc. Owners Andrew & Kirsty are so friendly but you won’t notice they are there! Would stay again without hesitation. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Luxurious & cosy home from home !!

This was easily one of the best cottages I’ve stayed in - pure luxury! With gorgeous scenery (think I was here at one of the best times of the year - stunning autumnal colours on the surrounding trees) & always warm & cosy inside the cottage - just what you need !! Clean, spacious & modern, comfy bed and sofas, really thick carpet, lots of little extras dotted about & really thick quality towels - the bath sheet was like a blanket !! Kirsty was kind & welcoming & I loved meeting her rescue hens in the garden. All in all, a great place to stay in Somerset with easy access to nearby Glastonbury, Street & the surrounding areas, would easily stay again ! For me, one of the best things was the skylight windows for stargazing & taking photos of sunrise etc, and any possible downside? probably that the sheep weren’t around in the neighbouring field as I’m a huge animal lover !! The week just flew by so quick & I didn’t want to leave ! If you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Best cottage we have ever stayed in.

We loved this cottage! Pure luxury at an affordable price. THREE very nice bathrooms (2 of which are ensuite). Very good size lounge. BEAUTIFUL master bedroom - ensuite bathroom has nice bath in this room. Good size second bedroom too. Very calm feel to the place, nice views of fields but still very accessible to roads. Couldn't fault it, would definitely recommend :-)

Beautiful home from home holiday let

If you're looking for something a little bit out of the ordinary, this is the place to book for your next stay in Somerset. Owners Kirsty and Andy have spared no expense in creating a delightful haven full of light, comfort and great functionality. They are on hand to help out with any questions and ensure that everything is just right. The main photo of the property just doesn't do it justice. When you open the front door, you step into a wonderfully spacious hallway leading off to a bathroom with shower, a well-stocked kitchen and a large sitting/dining room with large windows on 2 elevations. The highlight of the property has to be the gorgeous master bedroom under the eaves with a beautifully finished ensuite bathroom with large bathtub!

There's nothing to fault in this property and our eldest son who came to visit was impressed with the selection of utensils he had to prepare food with - he used to work as a chef. What else can we say? You will have a large flock of sheep as neighbours, lovely nearby walks in the woods, and easy access to plenty of local places to visit.

Definitely a 10/10 and a place to visit again and recommend to others.
