Our family of 5 and 1 dog spent a week at this spacious holiday home.

The house is set over 3 floors and has a small sheltered courtyard garden. The house well-suited our needs and we found the beds very comfortable. The master suite was particularly nice. The back garden was a suntrap, even at easter! Internet access was very welcome as we have two teenagers! We found the house to be a great base for travelling to Scarborough Town Centre, Whitby, Filey, Robinhood Bay etc. Cayton Bay, a lovely surfing beach, was only two minutes in the car. My hushand also used the train (station was handy) to go into the town centre. The local chippy, Crossgates was fantastic, almost as good as the famous Magpie Cafe in Whitby. The owners were just a phone call away for any enquries which was helpful. Jackie and Steve were particularly kind and helpful in sending my laptop home by post when I accidently left it behind.

Home from home.

We had a lovely time staying in Jackie beautiful house. It was a home from home with a beautiful back garden. Not far to travel to scarborough beach and lots of lovely eating places near by. It had loads of room for my husband , myself and my 3 kids 18, 15 & 10. Spotlessly clean and very comfy. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful and well kept holiday home.

  • 5 of 5

This holiday home is an excellent example of a great place to stay for your holiday at scarborough.

It has everything you need to make the stay enjoyable and is right next door to morissons as well as the bus stop into scarborough town itself, which is very regular.

The four of us and my dog had a wonderful stay and would definately stay again :)

Great House

  • 5 of 5

Just come back from a week in Scarborough, house was great, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Stayed with my Dad, 15 yr old son, 11 yr old daughter and two large dogs. Plenty of room for us all. Great location, convenient for Scarborough and nearby resorts. Bridlington Beach is a must see especially if you have kids, South Beach does accept dogs on a designated part of it! Plenty of nearby places to eat, The Mayfield Hotel/Pub/Bar and Three Jolly Sailers are very good. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate in going back!

great holiday home

  • 5 of 5

Myself, husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandkids had a lovely week staying here. It really is a lovely house and has everything you need to have a great time. Seamer station is a 2 minute walk away if you don't want to drive into Scarborough which is only a 5 (or depending on how busy the road is) 15 minute drive away. The owners leave plenty of information about what is nearby and we used discount vouchers provided for SeaLife centre which grandkids loved. it is a totally safe area for children and plenty of parking space as well. We will definitely use again.

Home from home

  • 5 of 5

We have just come back from staying in this house and as the title says - it really is a home from home.

We have stayed in a lot of cottages over the last few years and this was the best equipped and felt furnished as if it was someone's home rather that a holiday rental.

The location is great for things to do, 10 mins walk to a little hidden nature reserve that you can walk dogs in, lots of nice pubs and only 5 mins into Scarborough.

We will definitely be booking to stay again
