My wife and I have owned property in Falmouth for many years. We have recently sold our interiors business, but are still involved in design projects. We have indulged and spared no expense on this project and the result is stunning.

There are 3 lovely beaches within a few minutes walking distance and beautiful coastal paths.


Newquay is the closest airport, with regular flights to London. Falmouth Town train station is 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment and there is generally a taxi service available at the station.


Truro, Cornwall’s capital city is 14 miles away and is ideally placed for onward journeys by road and rail.

Falmouth has a large swimming pool complex close by and adjacent to Pendennis Castle.

From Falmouth quays there are regular ferry services to Flushing, St Mawes and Truro, as well as frequent pleasure boat trips.

Falmouth is an excellent base for exploring Cornwall, as it is in a central location and within reasonable driving distance to most locations.

Falmouth is a vibrant place, with its maritime heritage, many fine restaurants, traditional pubs and a wonderfully eclectic mix of art galleries, shops and events.

Notes on accommodation: The property has a combi-boiler system for hot water and radiators in all rooms. To comply with fire safety regulations, no smoking is allowed in the property. There is designated private parking for 1 vehicle. Outside: A large, private, elevated, semi-circular terrace with stunning views across Falmouth Bay to the coastline beyond. The terrace enjoys a sheltered south-facing position and is accessed directly from the drawing room. Set in beautiful gardens, with wide sweeping lawn down to Gllyngdune public garden, with its grottos. Utility Room: There is an adjacent utility room, with washing machine and tumble drier. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen and towels are provided and changed on a weekly basis. Other: The entrance is via an electronic main front door, leading to a large lobby area, giving secure access to the apartment.

Great stay

Dear Derek, Having previously spent a delightful week in one of your other properties it came as no surprise that The Georgian Manor excelled all. The approach through the Portico was a taster of what was to follow. The apartment, which occupies the complete ground floor of the recently rebuilt manor house, certainly has a wow factor !

The main drawing room with ultra modern kitchen attached is a successful mix of contemporary and modern styles. The private south facing patio is adjacent, approached through four sets of glazed doors, giving an uninterrupted view to the ocean beyond. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished. We loved the master bedroom furnished in tasteful French style with super king size bed.

The whole propeerty was immaculate, clean and everything needed is supplied (including a bottle of wine, which was very welcome).

Falmouth town less than ten minutes walk, beaches directly below.
