About the Owner

For 20 years I ran an art gallery in New Zealand. However my life changed dramatically when in 2009 I came to France for a holiday, fell in love with this region, and then when I drove into the beautiful village of Martel there was no turning back. Within 24 hours I had purchased a village house.

Guestbook comments from the owner

'We have just returned home to New Zealand after spending a week staying with Anna in Martel. On reflection it was the highlight of our 6 week European trip. We felt totally relaxed there - Martel is the perfect village, Anna is the perfect host, and the house is drop-dead gorgeous! We loved Anna's generosity, and meeting her neighbours and friends. You couldn't find a bad meal in Martel if you tried! Do try Maison de Bibby! It is what you dream of! Merci Anna...'
