The house overlooks a recreation area with grass and a small playground, offering a perfect location for families with young children to relax and enjoy a well earned holiday. 10 minutes walk to the local village shop, pubs and restaurants, 5 minutes to the beach. Spaces for 2 cars to park directly in front of the house.

September 2016 perfection

beautiful modern semi on a quiet location not far from the beach. Well equipped clean lots of linen provided plenty of stuff for children ( buckets spades fishing nets) even dog toys!

We had a lovely two weeks walking the bay in Beadnell, Seahouses, Bamburgh, Holy Island, Dunstanburgh, and inland to Alnwick, Chillingham Tynemouth, Seaton Sluice, Druridge Bay. Just perfect.

Lovely well-equipped home in excellent position

This is an extremely well-equipped home. The house is in a quiet street and is well-maintained. It was spotlessly clean and in an excellent position being only a few minutes walk from the beach. We particularly liked the comfortable furniture, the fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons, the TV in the bedroom. It was great to have 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets – a real bonus, and the secure garden was fantastic for us as it was safe for our dog. This was our third year in Beadnell which must have one of the best beaches in the UK, yet is within easy access of the various attractions on the Northumbrian coast.

Samphire

Samphire is a delightful house - clean and well equipped. Having two small dogs, the enclosed garden was ideal and a lovely place to relax at the end of a busy day walking the coastal paths.

Beadnell is my favourite place on the Northumberland coast and early morning walks on Beadnell bay are not to be missed!

Superb accomodation

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in this warm and immaculately clean house. Our grandchildren enjoyed playing football on the grassed area and the sandpit in the garden was an added bonus. All the toys and DVD's provided for the children were just marvellous. We woke to the sound of waves on the beautiful beach which truly is only five minutes stroll from the front door. Every convenience provided in the kitchen. Almost afraid of praising this house too highly in case it books up too quickly and we cannot secure our next booking. A 5 star holiday. Looking forward so much to our return visit.

Lovely base in Beadnell

We visited Samphire over the Easter Holidays and it was our first holiday with Owners Direct and also with our puppy! From our first contact with the property owners - which was prompt and friendly - all went very well. The directions were clear and the access to the property was really straightforward. The house was really well presented and there were some thoughtful provisions in the cupboards which were much appreciated. We had a great family holiday week and enjoyed being able to walk on the beach without any dog walking restrictions. Great property in a lovely part of the country.

Lovely place

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was warm and comfortable, it was homely and very well equipped. A few minutes walk to the beach, 1 min from a small play ground and about 15min walk to a good pub with food and free wifi. Local shop open 8-1 10min away. Great location/ base to visit craster, bamburgh, seahouses, Alnwick.......

Already recommended it to a friend!
