Guestbook comments from the owner
In case we don't see you, thanks for everything, we've left the keys under the plant pot.
We're just in town grabbing breakfast then we'll get the cars out of your way .....
We've racked our brains and can't really think of anything we'd change!
It's a lovely place and we will be recommending it to friends.
From the Owner
“The Lake District is the perfect place to live and work with something for everyone whatever their age. As a family it works for us on every level: as escapees from Hong Kong it was a dream come true. An alternative lifestyle using skills learnt over the previous couple of decades. For our younger kids it gives that traditional childhood that is sadly going out of fashion and schools that are forward- thinking with good and outstanding OFTEDs, for our older kids it provides the perfect antidote to hard student life and a good way to earn money when they come back broke! 'It takes a village/town/ community to raise a child ' and Keswick is the kind of town where this is still true.”

Sitting up on a little hill and sandwiched between the town centre and Fitz Park, Greta Hall offers the green seclusion you look for in a Lake District property with the convenience of being a couple of minutes walk from town. A huge garden with wonderful vies and plenty for both adults and children to enjoy, a long stretch of the River Greta (with fishing rights) and a rear entrance leading to Fitz Park.”
