This is the 6th time we have stayed at abbeywall. As usual, the flat was comfortable, very clean, well equipped and a wonderful base for our golfing break

Thoroughly enjoyed being here for the annual Arts Festival. Wow, what a great time and atmosphere.

Loved our short stay at Abbeywall, - just perfect for our walking weekend.

the apartment was immaculate, and private, furnished in a style to make you feel comfortable from the start( much better than the carbon copy hotel chains )great views from the windows, slept so well in the comfy bed we nearly missed our holiday. Quiet friendly village, and Anstruther a stones throw away had tables and chairs outside the pubs and restaurants on saturday(all full)because the sun shone in March . like Barcelona wi duffle coats. All this and pet friendly too.

Walking the dog at night(with the torch provided) the stars were everywhere in a clear sky, if you want to find peace for a few days, its here.

Hidden gem

My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful and tranquil holiday apartment . Location is outstanding and facilities could not have been better. Jeni is a wonderful host and made sure that any questions re the surrounding area were answered honestly. We had a truly wonderful stay and can't wait to return again very soon😃👍

Nearest airport is Edinburgh and it is about a one hour drive

A regular bus service runs between St Andrews and Leven.


Edinburgh is one hour by car.

Dundee is 50 minutes by car.

Local villages - Elie, St Monans, Anstruther, Crail all within 15 minutes

St Andrews - 15 minutes

Further Details:

Pittenweem has good local shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
