The view from the large bay window 'one of the best views from Woolacombe', is breathtaking and offers evening sunsets overlooking the sea, beach and Lundy Island. All floors are oak and the decor is newly refurbished and modern. There is a spacious open plan lounge with sea views and fully fitted kitchen. Seablue View has two bedrooms sleeping 4 guests. A bathroom with walk in shower. There is one parking space. Regret no pets.

The spacious main living area has a bay window with chaise longue overlooking views of the sea. It comprises kitchen, dining and living room in one open plan room with chaise longue. There is WiFi. There is access to communal flat roof area for drying beach towels and wetsuits.

We are both artistic people and have previously lived, studied and worked in West London. We have visited many places in Europe and America but are always glad to return to Woolacombe, it is a lovely village in a stunningly, beautiful location.

Beautiful light, airy apartment with absoutely breathtaking views of the ocean and beach. It was wonderful to watch the full panorama of the sky changing and the waves rolling in. The apartment is tastefully decorated and very close to the shops, surf beach and cliff walks. I would highly recommend it. Woolacombe was a highlight of my trip so far. A lovely bright apartment with an amazing view.

This is a great apartment in a great location with a great view! We loved being out in Woolacombe and on the beach (especially as it is all so handy), but we also enjoyed being in the apartment which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a lovely warm week which meant we were out more than in but I enjoyed the view each morning as I watched Woolacombe wake up. We had our first surfing experience which was great fun. We enjoyed Barricane Beach and nipped to Ilfracombe to see the Damien Hirst gallery and statue, although to be honest we didn't really want to leave Woolacombe once we were there! Valerie responded quickly to my enquiry and was really friendly. A great week, Thankyou!

Beautiful Views of the sea - shame about the noise

The apartment has probably the best view of the sea and Woolacombe and it was a joy to sit and watch the sunset in the evenings and wake up to see the sea in the morning. It was well equipped and clean throughout. It was minutes from the beach and the centre of Woolacombe and could not be better placed.

The downside was that it is directly above 2 busy bar/restaurants, and over the bank holiday weekend it was incredibly noisy until around 1.30am in the morning which was not ideal with children. Especially with the weather being so warm, we needed to keep the windows open on an evening, and it was very very noisy well into the early hours on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The double bedroom was tiny and the bed was a small double bed which we really struggled with (my husband is 6.3ft)

The lounge didnt have enough comfortable seating for 4 people either so the children had to sit on wooden stools.

I think this would be an ideal place for 2 or maybe 3 people, but is too small for a growing family of 4 for more than a couple of days.

We are regular visitors to Woolacombe and know the area well, but stay elsewhere in the future.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Yes the views are lovely, it is wonderful to watch the sunset over the sea from the bay window. It is a great place to relax. I am so glad you had sunny and warm weather throughout the week. I am surprised you didn't use the kingsize bed option and I am also surprised the children did not love the rockers in the bay window. The sofa is very large and with the rockers I have not had any problems with seating before, or accommodating 4+ guests within the apartment. I can understand the bank holiday weekend was busy in Woolacombe, there are options to rent further up towards Mortehoe, which can be more peaceful. Thanks again for your review, from an owners point of view I would ask that you leave the property as you found it. The curtain rail was pulled down and there was a great deal of sand in the apartment and down the shower drain, we were very sad when we saw the apartment after you left. For future reference please remember this is also a home and not closing the windows when you depart can leave the property susceptible to intruders. Hope you enjoy many more holidays in Woolacombe in the future.

Lovely apartment ideally located

A lovely 2 bedroom apartment, ideally located overlooking the beautiful Woolacombe beach. We stayed in the apartment for a week with our 6 month old baby. Although the apartment was above a restaurant, we were not disturbed at all and had some lovely evenings watching the sunset over the beach with a glass of wine. The owner answered our queries with incredible speed and was very easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

A lovely place by the sea!

We stayed for 2 weeks at this lovely apartment. There are very few places nearer to the beach or with such an amazing view. We watched the sunset most evenings! You can easily walk to the beach and to the start of many coastal walks. The property is well maintained, very recently decorated and clean.

Although above a restaurant, we were not disturbed and had a restful break away from the city. Perfect for a couple or small family.

Kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook, but there are also a choice of places to eat or get provisions in the village, just minutes from the apartment. Try Eddy's and the Sri Lankan place on the beach!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. Thank you.

Beautiful Place!

We stopped here for a week late July... The place is tastefully decorated and was squeaky clean upon arrival. The view from the bay window was beautiful! Everything you need is within a short walking distance, with some great bars and restaurants to choose from!

The owner was great to deal with and quick to reply with queries and question! Will definitely look to stay here again!

We have always wanted to live in Woolacombe. The village is in a breathtaking place right in the heart of National Trust land and has one of the most beautiful and impressive beaches. It is rated 2nd best beach in the UK, 5th in Europe and 25th in the world. We love the location of the flats, they are conveniently placed right in the heart of the village and both have stunning and uninterupted views of the sea and horizon. The bay window in Seablue View offers one of the best views in Woolacombe of the beach, the ocean, the beautiful sunsets and Lundy Island.

Nearest Airport : Exeter at 50 Miles Nearest Beach : Woolacombe Car: not necessary


1 minute walk to Woolacombe beach, No 1 best beach in the UK (blue flag, sandy, surfing) no car required. The beach has 2 miles of fine sand to the south, Putsborough and Barricane protected cove is to the north. Putsborough and Croyde sandy/surfing beaches are 10 minutes by car. Ilfracombe (rocky cove beaches, great for rock pooling) ten minutes by car. Saunton sandy/surfing beach 15 minutes by car. Appledore and Instow are 30 minute drive. Lynton and Lynmouth are 40 minute drive


Car may be required to access the village but not required once arrived. Barnstaple train station is 15 miles away. Exeter and Bristol airports are within 2 hour drive.


Apartments are in Woolacombe village. Mortehoe village 1 mile. Ilfracombe town 3 miles. Croyde village 4 miles. Barnstaple 15 miles. Braunton village 6 miles. Exmoor National Park 6 miles.

Further Details:

There is an HSBC bank, a pharmacy, convenience store, newsagent, bars, restaurants, abundance of surf shops and surf schools, all within 3 minute walk. There is golf and horse riding close by, also tennis courts, swimming pool, gym and spa at The Bay Hotel 5 minutes away.

Seablue View and Seablue Loft flats are close to the beach and situated at the end of Beach Road as you arrive in Woolacombe village. We love that the beach is close enough to run back if you forget anything! Tides Inn and Bar Electric offer great food and atmosphere and all the surf shops are just around the corner. In fact, everything you need is less than 5 minutes away. The views from the flats are amazing and you can chose to spend your day relaxing in the bay window or a stroll through the lively bustle of the village. Or maybe take a walk in the peace and serenity of the vast sand dunes, across the open beach to Putsborough or the grassy National Trust trails over the hills. Take a camera as you may see the wild ponies up on the hill.

  • Notes on accommodation: There is central heating in both apartments, and double glazing. Please note the flats are in the heart of Woolacombe lively village. Beach towels not provided. No stag/hen groups are permitted in this accommodation. Each apartment has its own parking space and separate entrance as well as connecting stairwell if booked together. There is £100 refundable damages/cleaning deposit. Payable with final payment, 8 weeks before start of booking, or later if booking is made within this period. Regret no pets. Arrival time 3pm, depart 10am. Arrival/Departure is Saturday. Outside: Deck area for Seablue Loft, south and west facing with views to the sea and hills.
