Apartment in Oasis de Capistrano, Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Location 15 Minutes Walk From The Beach

The property is set in the tranquil and beautifully maintained tropical gardens on the exclusive urbanisation Oasis de Capistrano, which is built in the traditional white Spanish pueblo style common in the Andalucia region. There are two swimming pools and a splash pool for younger children for use exclusively by residents of Oasis. There is a pool bar and restaurant by the main central pool. The apartment is set on one level with open plan living and dining area, the hallway off leads to the bathroom which has a bath with shower, wc and vanity sink unit there is also a hairdryer provided. Next to the bathroom is the bedroom which has 2 single beds with fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan and a safe. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge which also has a ceiling fan and aircon along with satellite TV and DVD player. The patio doors open out on to a private terrace which has a built in BBQ and steps leading down to a small private garden.

Why Ian and Deborah Feltham chose Nerja area

We visited Nerja for the first time in 2003 and despite been dumped in the middle of nowhere with 2 very young children and no keys by a holiday company we just fell in love with the place. Since then we have visited Nerja many times making our own arrangements to avoid any further disasters, and have made many friends in the area. So naturally as we like to visit often we decided to take the plunge and purchase our own property. We have always found the Oasis an ideal place to stay as it is close enough to the beach and town to enjoy all they have to offer, yet it is away from the hustle and bustle enabling you to chill out and relax either in the accommodation or by one of the pools.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is ideally located to unwind in a peaceful location set among tropical gardens, with all the amenities you would expect at home this property is great to experience a piece of living in the sun. For those who like to keep in touch with the modern world there is a wifi connection on pay as you go basis which is payable through paypal. It is a superb location for those who like to relax but also an ideal base for those who like to explore another culture, be it sampling different food, walking in the mountains or just general sight seeing.

Notes on accommodation: The property is a 1 bedroom apartment set on 1 level and has an open plan dining/living room with a double sofa bed, aircon, table and 4 chairs. There is a TV with several English channels, DVD player and MP3 player/smart phone plug in speaker to enjoy your own choice of music. The kitchen is fully fitted with hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and washing machine. There are various pots and pans, plates, dishes, cups, glasses and cutlery. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath with shower over, basin with mirror and hairdryer and wc. The bedroom has twin beds with bedside tables, ceiling fan, fitted wardrobes with sliding glass doors in which there is a safe to keep your valuables secure. Also there is an iron and ironing board provided. Outside: From the lounge there are patio doors that lead out to a terrace with built in BBQ there is a table and 4 chairs for alfresco dining. The terrace is south facing so has the sun all day with views to the sea. From the terrace there is a flight of steps leading to a small garden complete with lemon tree (sorry Gin & Tonic not provided). The nearest supermarket is a short walk about 5 mins away they have a good selection of products including many English brands, they have an in store bakery for fresh bread daily. There are two swimming pools and a splash pool for younger children for use exclusively by residents of Oasis. There is a pool bar and restaurant by the main central pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean linen and towels are included, If a change of these are required there will be a £20 charge

Ideal location for Nerja Town

We stayed at Debbie & Ian's apartment for 4 weeks in January and had the most wonderful time. The apartment itself had everything you needed and was very warm and cosy for the evenings we decided to stay in. The terrace had the sun most of the day, so when we returned on a late afternoon, we could sit out and have a beer whilst playing Querkle.

The apartment was about 30 minutes into the town, which was great for us, as we love to walk. Nerja is lovely with all its restaurants, tapas bars and coffee bars, so many to choose from, even in January. We were amazed how many people were about around the Balcon d'Europe, especially at a weekend, a real buzz.

The weather, at the beginning of our stay, was quite cool, so we did a lot of walking into the mountains, we even had snow! Walking down from the mountains, we visited Maro, which was a lovely little village and we found a restaurant with very nice cheap food.

First weekend, we took ourselves off to Seville for a few days, which was amazing, only 2.5 hours away by car. Definitely a city to visit! On our way back to Nerja, we visited Ronda, again definitely worth a visit. Want to go back and do some walking around that area.

We had a day when it rained, so went to a shopping centre in Velez-Malaga, great fun!

All in all we had the most fantastic time and would definitely go back to Nerja and Debbie & Ian's apartment. Thank you.

Great stay

Loved this apartment, sea views and a nice peaceful location, clean apartment with everything you could need for your stay, pool was very welcome after leaving the beach, the beach is a short walk along a footpath .

Local supermarkets are close and very good value and the town a twenty minute walk .

All in all a very enjoyable stay and would recommend, Nerja is a brilliant place

Nice quiet apartment with a great view

We stayed 9 nights in this apartmen located in a very nice residential complex with beautiful gardens and great views of the sea. The apartment offers every thing you need, except that there was a problem with Wifi. We were unable to connect to the Internet at all time. The owners tried to help, but being so far away there was not much they could do. We really enjoyed our stay in Nerja.

Sorry for the lack of Wifi in the apartment, this is something we are looking into as to whether we can find another supplier with a more reliable connection or possibly take it out altogether.As most bars and restaurants now offer free Wifi we hope you were able to keep in touch with family and friends and were not inconvenienced too much. Well equipped home away from home

The apartment was surprisingly lovely and well equipped. Very good base for walking to the main Nerja beach and for travelling to other nearby villages. Facilities on site are fabulous and the gardens and pools are maintained to a very high standard. We would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Nerja. Clean fresh air

I stayed a week at this apartment at the end of November and had a really nice time.. The weather was ok 14-18 bit cloudy and rained once..

The layout is good with lovely views from the patio. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday.. The owners have left maps and places of interest information..

You will need to hire a car to get to the apartment from the airport, and to get about, there are shops and bars within warlking distance but all up a long steep hill..

There are lot and lots of steps to and from the apartment but it's all part of the beauty of living on the side of a mounting...

All in all my say was realy good, the apartment was clean and well equipped..

Last but not least the owners are realy nice and helpful...
