Apartment in Oasis de Capistrano, Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Location 15 Minutes Walk From The Beach

The property is set in the tranquil and beautifully maintained tropical gardens on the exclusive urbanisation Oasis de Capistrano, which is built in the traditional white Spanish pueblo style common in the Andalucia region. There are two swimming pools and a splash pool for younger children for use exclusively by residents of Oasis. There is a pool bar and restaurant by the main central pool. The apartment is set on one level with open plan living and dining area, the hallway off leads to the bathroom which has a bath with shower, wc and vanity sink unit there is also a hairdryer provided. Next to the bathroom is the bedroom which has 2 single beds with fitted wardrobes, ceiling fan and a safe. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge which also has a ceiling fan and aircon along with satellite TV and DVD player. The patio doors open out on to a private terrace which has a built in BBQ and steps leading down to a small private garden.

Great stay

Loved this apartment, sea views and a nice peaceful location, clean apartment with everything you could need for your stay, pool was very welcome after leaving the beach, the beach is a short walk along a footpath .

Local supermarkets are close and very good value and the town a twenty minute walk .

All in all a very enjoyable stay and would recommend, Nerja is a brilliant place

Nice quiet apartment with a great view

We stayed 9 nights in this apartmen located in a very nice residential complex with beautiful gardens and great views of the sea. The apartment offers every thing you need, except that there was a problem with Wifi. We were unable to connect to the Internet at all time. The owners tried to help, but being so far away there was not much they could do. We really enjoyed our stay in Nerja.

Well equipped home away from home

The apartment was surprisingly lovely and well equipped. Very good base for walking to the main Nerja beach and for travelling to other nearby villages. Facilities on site are fabulous and the gardens and pools are maintained to a very high standard. We would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Nerja. Clean fresh air

I stayed a week at this apartment at the end of November and had a really nice time.. The weather was ok 14-18 bit cloudy and rained once..

The layout is good with lovely views from the patio. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday.. The owners have left maps and places of interest information..

You will need to hire a car to get to the apartment from the airport, and to get about, there are shops and bars within warlking distance but all up a long steep hill..

There are lot and lots of steps to and from the apartment but it's all part of the beauty of living on the side of a mounting...

All in all my say was realy good, the apartment was clean and well equipped..

Last but not least the owners are realy nice and helpful...

Lovely Place

We stayed here for a week in February. Although it was chilly of an evening, extra blankets had been provided and we found the apartment warm enough without needing to use the heater which had been provided. Having said this, during the day the terrace is a real sun trap and we still managed to do a bit of sunbathing, which was a welcome break from the horrible British winter. We've stayed in several apartments in the area and found this place to be one of the nicest, with a beautiful view of the sea and countryside from the terrace. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you could need for home cooking and the BBQ outside was great. The location is great, the swimming pools were open (although very chilly) and there are loads of outdoor activities available nearby such as cycling and some excellent hiking in the mountains.

We visited Nerja for the first time in 2003 and despite been dumped in the middle of nowhere with 2 very young children and no keys by a holiday company we just fell in love with the place. Since then we have visited Nerja many times making our own arrangements to avoid any further disasters, and have made many friends in the area. So naturally as we like to visit often we decided to take the plunge and purchase our own property. We have always found the Oasis an ideal place to stay as it is close enough to the beach and town to enjoy all they have to offer, yet it is away from the hustle and bustle enabling you to chill out and relax either in the accommodation or by one of the pools.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Malaga at 65 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : at 200 Metres Nearest Motorway : at 2.5 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : at 100 Metres Nearest Beach : Burriana at 400 Metres Car: not necessary


The nearest beach is Burriana about 10 minute walk via pathway and steep steps or 20 minute walk the long way round. There are also many smaller beaches accessible from the town.


Nerja is in the east of the Costa del Sol, in the south of Spain the nearest airport being Malaga which is a 40 minute drive away. Most low cost airlines fly in to Malaga from many airports throughout UK.

There are many car hire companies based at and around Malaga airport, pre-booking is advised to ensure a car is available and to get the best price.

Taxi transfers are also available, but again pre-book to ensure you get picked up and to guarantee the price

Further Details:

The town centre of Nerja is a 25 to 30 minute stroll away or for those who prefer there is a local circular bus that picks up from the entrance to the Oasis every half hour for €1 per person. There are many beaches around Nerja the nearest of which is Burriana which is a15 to 20 minute walk, or for the more athletic a 10 minute walk and climb down some steep steps. Burriana is serviced with many bars and restaurants, including the famous Ayo’s where paella is cooked in huge pans over open fires.

Taxis in Nerja will cost €6 or €7 depending on how far. They will pick up from Oasis and you can get a taxi back from the rank in town or ask the bar or restaurant to call one.

Things to do in the area include a visit to the Nerja caves which are 3km away, the whitewashed village of Frigilliana which is 6km away in the mountains.For the adventurous there are activities such as walking tours, horse riding and SCUBA Diving. The nearest golf course is a 20 minute drive away

The town of Nerja is centralised around the Balcon de Europa and the church of El Salvador. Here you will find many cafes, bars and restaurants where you can simply sit with a coffee or beer and watch the world go by. There are numerous tapas bars around Nerja where you can sample the delicious mini snacks with a glass of wine or beer. There is a huge variety of restaurants providing a choice of any type of food you could imagine, most restaurants offer a menu del dia for around €10 you can have a 3 course meal.

For those who prefer their night life a little livelier then head to the tutti frutti plaza where the party goes on until 3am then move on to the night clubs until the sun has come up.

The nearest supermarket is a short walk about 5 mins away they have a good selection of products including many English brands, they have an in store bakery for fresh bread daily. There are two swimming pools and a splash pool for younger children for use exclusively by residents of Oasis. There is a pool bar and restaurant by the main central pool.
