"El Mayordomo" is a beautiful villa set in a highly desirable location in Corralejo. The villa is within an exclusive private development, accessed via electric barriers, and entrance to the villa via electric gates. Overlooking the Parque Naturals sand dunes, its just minutes into town or to the stunning golden sandy beaches. It's also very close to the fabulous water park and bustling "El Campanario" centre, encompassing bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and a great supermarket. The landscaped private gardens host a larger than average private pool, with mosaic tiles and Roman end steps to the shallow end, a covered al fresco dining area with its own bar and plenty of space to sunbath and relax in the large patio areas. Outside: Ample parking space directly outside. Within the gates, the private driveway provides parking space for 2 cars. All internal walls of the garden are dressed in traditional natural slate giving a warm and authentic feel to the garden areas. The large rear gardens provide a covered dining area and beautiful granite bar with up lighting to the traditional wooden, clay tiled pergolas, providing an idyllic private outdoor dining and drinking area. There is a large teak table and 6 solid chairs. The landscaped gardens also encompass a private 9'5 x 4'5 metre bespoke pool, with mosaic tiles and compass Mural. The ample tiled area provides lots of sunbathing space, with 6 teak sunbeds in the south facing private garden. There is a traditional stone BBQ. At the rear of the garden is a gated area, planted with various Canarian plants and trees, with a secret pathway and cast iron bench for relaxing and enjoying the truly delightful settings. Utility Room: Washing machine, wash basin. Broom, mop and bucket, dustpan/brush, ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and domestic towels are provided and are changed mid holiday during a 2 week stay. Beach towels are also provided.

A Superb Villa

Having read the previous reviews I can only agree with everything that's been said. The Villa is faultless and a credit to it's owner Jason with a magnificent pool and outside area with lots of room. Inside, all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and living area are well furnished with everything you need. All communications with Jason and Sue, that looks after the villa, were dealt with promptly. We had a fantastic week staying here and will without a doubt visit again.

Fantastic holiday in a wonderful villa

Arrived at the villa and was thrilled to see it was as described and more... there was nothing at the villa that needed changing both the inside and out were wonderful areas. We spent most nights just sitting around the pool area which has beautiful lighting . The pool was a welcomed relief and a great size and so clean lovely to laze around. We used the BBQ on a number of occasions but just a 15 min walk away you were spoilt for choice with some wonderful restaurants. The kitchen had everything we could have asked for as did the rest of the villa facilities. It's position slightly out of Corralejo town is easily walked but there is a very well stocked supermarket 5 minutes walk away where there is also lovely shops and restaurants. We were met by Roger and greeted at the villa by Sue who maintain the villa and it was a pleasure to meet them they gave us a very warm welcome.

All in all a great place to stay would change nothing about our time there. We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa and we all hope to return there. Thank you for everything and it was great dealing with Jason who answered my questions and responded very promptly.

Spacious villa with all amenities. Easy walk into the centre of town. Pool big enough to have an adult swim. Photos didn't do this villa true justice. It was lovely. All restaurants on trip advisor of 4.5 or above served delicious food. Loca Blanca Italian was the best! Just watch out for the mozzies. Thanks for a fabulous family holiday...only wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely villa & holiday

Our first visit to Fuerteventura, but not our last: villa was easy to find and very well appointed: the facilities were excellent and the pool an absolute gem.

Previous reviews have questioned whether a car is necessary but in our view an absolute must to be able to explore some of the fabulous beaches available a few miles away on the dunes, plus the restaurants in town.

Villa was clean, well maintained and there was nothing we could recommend that needed changing: the villa owner and the couple next door who provide the maintenance etc recommended a few restaurants which we tried and thoroughly enjoyed and we will definitely return at some stage.

Great holiday

Just got back from a weeks stay at Villa El Mayordomo.

We're a family of five & found the villa to have more than enough space for us & it was extremely well equipped.

There was plenty of outside space & the pool in particular was larger than you would normally expect.

It was a good location, the nearby Campanaro shopping centre had a handy supermarket & a good selection of shops & cafes & Correllejo itself was about a 15 to 20 minute walk away which we found manageable.

For nights when we didn't want to eat out the kitchen was well equipped & the barbecue & outside eating area both got a lot of use.

Everything we needed for a great week in the sun

We visited as a family of 3 generations, Gran, Grandad, Son, 2 granddaughters aged 8 and 10. The villa was a good fit for all of us, the girls loved the swimming pool and the location of the villa was really good in relation to being walking distance to all amenities.

The azure waters and stunning beaches of the famous Sand Dunes are a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the villa. Galera Beach in town is a 15 minute walk. There are plenty of seafront cafes/restaurants suitable for everybody. The picturesque harbour area is a 15 to 20 minute walk away. Windsurfing, kite surfing, surfing and all other water sports are all within easy reach.


The villa is a 30 minute drive from Fuerteventura airport. Private transfers can be arranged and taxis are cheap and plentiful. You don't need a car to enjoy the villa, Corralejo and its beaches, but, renting a car will give you access to the dozens of beautiful villages and beaches around the island which are always worth exploring.

Further Details:

There is a small supermarket just 5 mins walk from the villa. El Campenario, a stylish traditional centre with trendy shops, restaurants, bars and local live music, is just a stroll away. The taxis are plentiful and very cheap around town. There are markets twice a week with the usual selections of local artefacts and bargains for sale. The fabulous water park is 5 minutes up the road and is well worth a visit.
