I stayed here last year with my girlfriend and we had an awesome time. There are some excellent places to visit nearby including Guadalest, Elche (a town with the biggest palm forest in Europe) and the Algar falls (where the timote advert was filmed). The bungalow was very comfortable and everything that we needed was there. Linda and Stewart looked after us very well out there. The only thing missing which would be helpful would be wi-fi although there is a bar around the corner with internet access. Neil and Julia summer 2012. London.

We had two great weeks in the bungalow, everything we needed was avaiable, i would have enjoyed a private pool as the weather was so hot but could not have expected one for the price paid , which was exellent value,Great little pub at the top of the street with wi-fi. A big thank you to Linda & Stewart who were a great help on arrival. All in all a very enjoyable holiday. Martin & Lynda. Newcastle upon Tyne.

I bought the property when I was on holiday with a friend who already owned a property in Torrevieja. I fell in love with the town and the surrounding area. It is so lively and vibrant but is also peaceful. Over the years since 2003 I have made lots of good friends and my two best friends also own properties in Torrevieja. The beaches are clean and safe. There are so many interesting and historical places to visit. I love walking along the shore line in the sun. I enjoy sitting on my terrace eating my breakfast in the sun. Also enjoyable is sitting with a glass of wine watching the sun disappear for the night. The facilities in Torrevieja are all that you would want on a holiday. There are not any high rise hotels so it is not full of package holiday makers.

Coast/Beach:

There are many safe 'blue flag' sandy beaches only five minutes drive in either direction north or south.

Travel:

Nearest airports are Alicante 40 mins drive or Murcia 25 mins drive. Pick up from airport can be arranged. To drive from the UK takes approx 20 hours through France and Spain. Use of a car is not essential but recommended if you want to go out and about sight seeing. Coach trips are available with lovely lunches provided. Local bus stop across the road runs every half an hour . Bus available at airport to Torrevieja 10 euros or taxi 50 euros. or pick up arranged.

Distances:

Alicante is 40 mins, Elche is about one hour, Benidorm is one hour. Cartagena and Murcia are about one hour. La Manga is half an hour. The waterfalls at Callosa are lovely set in trees. Guadalest is a lovely village set up on a mountain. The boat trip to Tarbarca island is about two hours and you spend the day there, enjoy the fish restaurants for lunch.

There are lots of activities to do: scuba diving, walking, bird spotting on the nature reserve, sailing, horse riding. A local water park for the children. Terra Mitica theme park and Mundomar near Benidorm just one hour's drive north. Go karting, Fun Fair. The waterfalls at Callosa, the Palmery at Elche, historical Cartagena and Murcia. The submarine museum in Torrvieja. The long promenade and the marina area. Many street markets, theatres, discos, bars, restaurants etc. New shopping areas Habaners is one. Drive inland to the hot springs and bathe in the therapeutic waters. Mud baths just down the coast. Boat trips to Tarbarca island you may be lucky to see dolphins.

Please check availability on the calendar then phone or email with your requirements. The balance to be paid in full 12 weeks before departure. A damage deposit to be paid at the time of booking will be required of £100 or 150 euros which will be refunded 14 days after departure provided there is no damage or losses. details on request. Prices do not include cleaning which will be paid locally on arrival of 55 euros.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible. You will be advised of times based on your arrival and departure and whether guests are leaving or arriving. Normally you will be asked to vacate before noon so that cleaning can take place but we are flexible.

Long winter lets from November to March are available contact the owner for prices.

From the Owner

The property is convenient for supermarkets, restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. The bus stops across the road. It is only 5 mins by car into the town or to many beaches. I love to be able to choose a different restaurant to eat in each evening. What I also like are the restaurants on the beach where you can have ' Menu del Dia from 9 euros these are lunchtime menus. My roof terrace is extremely good for sunbathing privately. I hope you will treat my home as a 'home from home' and enjoy its Spanish ambience. Please leave it as you would wish to find it, I know accidents can happen but just let me know so it can be sorted for the next visitors. If there is something you want just let me know. I have good friends who look after the maintenance and the changeovers.
