Lemon House Villa has 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and 2 twin bedrooms. In a beautiful, secluded position, this bungalow villa is ideal for the perfect relaxing holiday. It is suitable for larger families but is also large enough for 8 adults. Inside is a well-equipped, spacious and air conditioned living area. It has its own private swimming pool in the central courtyard; there are 5 different terraces providing perfect al fresco dining and an established Mediterranean garden with stylish barbeque area. It is beautifully positioned between lemon and olive groves with a wonderful back-drop of the Kyrenia mountains. The village of Lapta is to the rear and to the front it's just a 5 minute walk to the sea. Within a short walking distance from Lemon House, you will discover an excellent selection of beaches, bars, taverna-style restaurants, supermarkets and Lapathos Aqua Park.

A lovely secluded villa with good facilities

We had a lovely holiday staying in Lemon House. There were 7 adults and the villa provided good accommodation for all of us. It was walking distance to the beach - we made good use of Silver Sands Beach, and near to plenty of supermarkets and restaurants. Kyrenia Town was a short drive and we enjoyed an excellent boat trip from the harbour here. We enjoyed exploring the local area as well as visiting Bellapais Abbey and Hilarion Castle - both within easy driving distance. There is so much more to explore but the summer heat (especially as there was a bit of a heatwave) restricted us somewhat, especially having an 83 year old with us! The BBQ could have been nearer to the villa but otherwise the facilities were very good and any problems Richard very quickly sorted out. I would recommend this villa and we hope to return but probably in Spring or Autumn next time!

North Cyprus villa

Richard provided excellent and detailed pre-departure information about the villa,the environs and contacts for taxi, car hire etc.

Whilst much had changed in TRNC since our 3 year posting in the late 1960s,the beauty of the region and the friendliness and hospitality of the population had not.

The villa is large ,comfortable ,clean and fully equipped for eight guests.The pool was very well maintained .It together with the extensive aircon made our August stay more bearable during a period of unusually hot temperatures in the high 30s.The unfenced pool would make the property unsuitable for families with young non swimming children.

The villa is ideal for two families with older children having 4 double bedrooms ,3 bathrooms -2 of which are ensuite.

We were two couples and found there were numerous options both inside and in the superb spacious garden to find either solitude or an area for a foursome drink or meal.The view from the pool/garden of the western end of the Kyrenia range is stunning.

A hire car is a must ,both for sightseeing ,shopping and visiting the numerous restaurants in the area.The local fare ,although tasty and healthy can be a little monotonous so it is worth also trying some of the other restaurants,eg Italian,French ,Indian etc.

We would recommend this property for its quiet location,spacious facilities and most helpful owner.

Fantastic holiday

Lemon House was an amazing opportunity to spend time with the family. I would definitely recommend this to any family looking for a chill and relaxing time. It's located in a rural setting but 2 mins from main road, so ideal to get around. My kids hi light was the beautiful pool which is completely private, nothing is overlooked. Looking forward to returning one day, Richard, the owner, is very helpful and friendly, made sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay.

Lemon House

We had a wonderful week at Lemon House, it was very comfortable, well equipped, clean and had a beautiful garden/pool. The general situation of the villa was very quiet and relaxing yet within easy reach of local bars etc, although in my opinion it is necessary to hire a car.

The Lemon House is a spacious, well equipped villa in a quiet location. It has a lovely pool and outside area in which to relax. Very comfortable and very reasonably priced. We have been twice in late October and early May and enjoyed both; late Oct was a little too cool for the pool but may was just right.

Activity and Interests


The beaches of Northern Cyprus are amongst the cleanest and clearest in the Mediterranean. The average water temperature is 24C between May and October. Some beaches are quiet with perhaps a small taverna close by, but some of the hotel beaches are more lively and offer activities such as water skiing, banana rides, jet skis and wind surfing. Excellent Scuba Diving is available. Lemon House is within a 5-minute walk of the sea; there is a quaint fishing harbour and small, quiet coves nearby.


The most convenient airport for Lemon House is Ercan Airport, which is just to the East of Lefkosia (Nicosia). Lemon House is about a 45 minute drive from Ercan Airport. Another option is to fly into an airport on the South of the Island. Larnaca airport is the most convenient, being just a 90 minute drive from the airport to Lemon House, passing through the border in Lefkosia. Hire cars are readily available and can be picked up at the airport or at Lemon House.


The famous town of Kyrenia is a 15 minute drive away; its beauty is epitomised by its tiny horseshoe shaped harbour where quaint Venetian buildings nestle beneath the grandeur of a massive Byzantine castle and where colourful fishing boats lie motionless in the clear blue water. Close to Kyrenia are the 3 Crusader Castles. Lefkosia is a half hour drive away and is steeped in history. 2 hours away to the East are the ancient Roman ruins of Salamis and the beautiful Karpas Peninsula.

There will be a welcome pack waiting for you. Once settled, you can buy food at the local supermarkets or visit the larger ones on the way to Kyrenia - prices are very reasonable. There is an ample supply of crockery and cooking ware, and there is a dish washer to help you keep on top of the washing up. We provide a book with information on local facilities, beaches and sights to help you decide how to best enjoy your holiday and we will send you an information pack before you travel.

Refundable Damage Deposit £100

Booking Notes:
A refundable "breakage bond" of £100 is also payable with the final balance. Assuming no damage/breakages the bond is returned to you 1 week after the end of your holiday.
Electricity: An allowance of 350 units per week is included within the rental price, any excess units will be deducted from the breakage bond.
Cancellation Charges: 4 to 8 weeks before the holiday – 50% of total rent; up to 4 weeks – 100% of total rent.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible, as long as there is availability. The owners live nearby and will be there at changeover times and available if you have problems during your stay.

Notes on prices:
The prices above are the starting prices for 4 people (i.e. 2 bedrooms). The price then goes up £100 for each room, for example, 4 people in peak season is £600, 5-6 people (or 4 people using 3 bedrooms) is £700, 7-8 people is £800.
Additional days are charged pro-rata to weekly rates.
Please check with the owner for availability.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% will secure the booking. The remainder should be paid at least 8 weeks before departure.

Rents must be paid into the owner's UK bank account
